Here is my issue as a newbie. With everyone commenting so much this game is still trending meaning people like me will come here see it was updated recently but not notice it took 2 years to get that update and soon after have our hopes crushed. Just let the thread die peeps
Wait so... why is having to change Celia content/images? Is it the reports he received on Patreon? What were they reporting him for lol, nsfw content with minors? Blackmail?

I get what you are saying, and agree, but this thread will never die (unless F95 completely removes it).
There are a ton of people pissed off at the Dev (with very good reason, a lot of them are ex-supporters) and a bunch of fanatical fans that will defend anything the Dev does (or actually doesn't do).
Personally I just occasionally pop in for the comments; I would have forgotten about this (if I even bothered trying it) a LONG time ago if it wasn't for the civil war keeping it in the trending section.
In general; if you see a large number of discussion pages, and a low number of releases, scan the comments before trying it. At least the last few pages. Either it is absolutely amazing, or there are massive issues (at least that has been my experience so far).
Enjoy your stay here; meds are to the left & straight jackets are on the right. Try not to feed the trolls too much, they are like strays; once you start feeding them, they are almost impossible to get rid of
You just hit the nail on the head. The problem isn't the game! In fact lets be honest the game itself is AMAZING!!! The problem is the updates! If the game sucked no one would bother coming here!!! But since it is one of the best games out there, we all keep returning while hoping and praying!!! People like this SJW clown spouting labels demanding censorship of a video game clearly made for ADULTS that makes me question humanity. Who are you to decide what pixels on my computer screen can do? Icstor could have created that f95zone account (under a different name) by himself or one of his minions just to fool us all that he reported icstor.
He posted that his site is under review, he can say a lot.
At Icstor, the rule still applies that out of 10 sentences, nine are lies and one is suspicious.
Usually patreon state that a site is under review, you would clearly see it by visiting patreon.com/icstor but thats not the case.
Even if its all true what he says he don't need a year to change all the content, he could change the problematic content in under a month, if he wants to.
To trust a person who has already uttered so much crap is lunatic.

A mere few days later Icstor posted the update message on Patreon about the Trust and Safety team issue. I had posted the report in this thread but all that and any messages involving it or any of the drama included was purged... (as I assume this will be too lol...got some discord type mods on here now yeah?)

Lain assured me in a way that I feel confident enough that she can. I asked her about it a couple of weeks ago in her mod thread. She said she'll take a look at it whatever and whenever it happens, compare them, and restore whatever was lost or censored.
No way do I want to lose this game's content to some self-anointed high and mighty assclown who's trying to change a game because of their self-absorbed and warped values they stupidly hold dear and close to their heart.
We can assume 50 grand per month for literally doing nothing.

You also have to question - said 'reporting user' has only posted in this thread, and only complains about THIS game, when there are many, many games with the tag 'reporting user' finds offensive.
It's a BS plant account by ShitStor or a minion to make excuses to do no work.

Yeah I wouldn't doubt it to be honest. There's worse games out there than this that's for sure that push the envelope more than this. I just felt like I had to say something since I was quiet about it the entire time until now. It's a distraction ploy I'm sure and the whole thing is pretty childish.
I've never heard or seen ever a game developer like this (Steam, VNs, whatever) go through so much crap and do so much to their own fanbase to the point they get ridiculed and laughed at. So much drama surrounding this whole game and developer I wouldn't believe it for myself if I never saw any of it.
When I got this game last March to me it was another run-of-the-mill game just waiting to get updated. Once I got here, and realized it all, I should've dropped it and immediately went back to my Paradox and Civ 5 games. but by then I was already hooked through the balls on Caroline and thoroughly and truly enjoyed playing this game. If I knew now what I didn't know then I wouldn't even be here, continuing to be oblivious of this whole genre.
I guess I can thank SteamUnlocked for starting me on this whole damn thing. Out of all the games I saw on that site, this was the only one I downloaded and it's been a very strange journey ever since.
