I guess people still value the quality of this game more than his unethical behavior and honestly, i don't blame them. With internet getting more widespread all icstor needed to do was periodic updates and they could have crossed ~20k mark. They still can.

Like someone said above, this project is their golden goose and they won't be willing to sacrifice it. If they want to start a new project abandoning this one it may hurt them financially as their previous game was abandoned too.
This was my first adult game i played, now after i tried playing many games, i can say why everyone is crazy about this game in particular
1 the development of the characters is done very well with too much details
2 i like how the story is developing for each character and there are lots of fetish to satisfy everyone
3 the animated scenes is beyond expectations specially the scenes with Linda
The story is really amusing unlike other games that you get bored from it even if the animation is done well, the only game that is near to this game in developing a good story and details is (being a dik)
Now the bad things about the game is
1 the characters disappear after you finish their route, events should be repeatable with interaction
2 the developer using the fame of the game to the maximum level, to the extent that he is not making any updates any more (why not he still gets paid for not doing anything)
The two big question : why no other developers can make a game with the same level of animation and details ( most of the games you find only one beautiful woman and the game is centered about her)?
Why developers who makes good games takes 1 year to release a good update?

Well that's the thing, they don't have resources to go around every single creator just by their own, so obviously the rules breaking content needs to be reported for them so they know what creators needs to be checked out.
If you think about it it isn't just ICSTOR's golden goose. But one of Patreon's many golden geese as well. They have made some nice change off this game
Well you would THINK a game called "BLACKMAILING THE FAMILY" would sort of be A HUGE RED FLAG!!!! And all they would take is a simple search of the keyword blackmail of all the games in their system. You telling me they can't even do that?

I wouldn't call it as blackmail per say. MC was just hesitant from the beginning about the idea of involving with her and father of hers finding it out, and mc did enjoy the sex.

The adult games or other +18 adult only content doesn't show up in the general Patreon search system, you need to search them directly through Google to get there. So yeah, they really couldn't track them down that way either, and taking time to go through adult game creators by keywords would need resources from the Trust and Safety Team, which they don't have as said earlier, as there is much more content creators in Patreon. Adult game creators are minority in Patreon.

That is Patreon. They want to hide all the adult content from their main platform because of PayPal and other credit card companies not liking porn.

Yeah that's why we liked it. This is fantasy, not reality. I don't play video games so I can bang another moderately overweight spinster, I play them so I can have experiences that I can't or wouldn't want to have in real life. agree. and why there is so much attention to sex blackmail, but not to murder and theft, which is also illegal, but found in more popular games.
So that means they have no list what so ever of the games on Patreon. Sure that makes a lot of sense.

I think the current ostentatious tolerance in the world with regards to, for example, race, women, sex crimes and sex orientation causes even more irritation and intolerance, because some people will be interested and attention only because it is wrong, forbidden, some kind of protest. If you properly advertise Milf City as a forbidden project, then there will be more than 10k patrons.
