Cuz we have rules and Icstor knows them well and knows how to avoid them.
Dev makes an update (just a simple progress post or something) when he's about to get the abandoned tag so he can still get the money from his patreon subs

Sadly that won’t work. F95, F95zone etc. words are blacklisted there, the bot gives you a warning and then his mods either mute or ban you after they check what banned word you used. They do the same if you say you can get the game for free or if you go on about the old broken promises stuff. He has secured his own fortress well.

f95zone should open a patreon account and inform icstors patreons that there is so much more content and fun in this thread than in the MC game itself. So much money can be made!

Last release, July 15.
First post after: August 3.
NEXT POST: November 18.
More than three months went by, and the game was not marked abandoned.

He's been playing fast and loose with the Patreon posts, I see. There was a post on August 23 that he apparently deleted for reasons known only to himself. Maybe he's trying to downplay how long it took to make the changes?
Still, I think that should qualify as sufficient reason under Internet Law to nuke this bullshit. Mods, get on it!
why cant some other developer make a new game out of these characters with little changes.

Unofficially he's making 30,000$ / month by doing nothing since years, so he will keep on doing so. You would. I would. Everyone would.

IIRC as long he posts something that has to do with this game in 3 months it will not be marked abandoned you can see this in other games too.
But yeah this thing should be always marked abandoned when 1 month no content release happened especially bcs we know how icstor is... but in the end staff decides that and not we.

The more newer members come in here, the more activity it gets. Most of the comments lately are just about the tag. I don't see it happening again, no matter how many people ask for it this time.this is just amazing,over 3000 treads on this game
I'm thinking a lot of those supporters have supported him since his first game and forgot they are supporting him.
maybe Patreon needs to email them and ask for a reply to make sure they are still active supporters.

It is impressive how he can get 5.509 supporters on patreon even with all these situations along past 2.5 years - most of problems created by himself.
Because of one only project - not all that Milfy's mafias and god knows who else - ICSTOR possible 'earn' just on patreon can be easily overcome tens of thousands.
From what I have seen here, does not make any sense, even for a potential good game - potential, because it is far from finished.
