Sorry but no you didn't, that just seems like a list of personal favorites. I must confess I don't know a lot of the titles you mentioned but I've seen a few like Harem Hotel, My New Family, MIST and MurMur but none of those are visually more attractive ('superior') to me, not by a long shot. Harem Hotel for instance is a waaayyyy better game for a multitude of reasons, but not graphics. Then again it is kinda hard to compare art styles that way, what with the different HS versions etc. Maybe we should just chalk it up to personal preference. Still appreciate the post, will check out some of the titles you mentioned.
No no no: I speak about
objective quality, not art style. Render neatness/sharpness, light positionning, model expressions, scene compositions, etc.
Not about photorealistic vs. anime styles, or personal tastes, because these can't be compared.
For example, in an animation, you can compare the physics (is there a "floating body"?), smoothness, consistency of frames parts which aren't supposed to move, projected shadows, reflections, etc.
For picture sharpness, does it have this blurry lines effect around characters? Is FoV consistent with characters and background? Is lightning consistent across the scene? Do models show subtle expressions, or generic/random ones only? Are textures properly positionned, or are they visibly stretched - in particular skin? Are hairs moved, or do we see Playmobil's hairs? Is perspective correct? And so on.
Also, please note what I said about models instant differentiation: all the games I quoted respect that.
Apart all this, all the given titles worth at least to read their synopsis, look at their render samples and tags. Maybe you won't like them all, or find some with an unsufferable attribute for you, but I doubt - seeing that you don't know a lot of them - that you come back without a fistful of new toys...
