Try right click, run as admin, seems many are having these issues for the game, I've tested both uncompressed and compressed both work fine here on Windows 11/10 home/pro.

Did you try both "exe's"? Not sure what's going on, as it's strange that it's working for the majority of folks.tried that.. still not working on my win 10

Add in a file called
patch.rpy to enable taboo content (incest, blackmail etc.). Can be empty.
