I've already figured out an excuse for ICSTOR.

As a responsible developer, I cannot give you a version with bugs.
We are already fixing it as soon as possible.

Doesn't change that they kept thousands of subs AND gained them again without anything tangible to show... he can just start a new game with the same kind of way and he will keep ~2500 plus easy, which is a bunch of money for almost nothing.
I mean, tbf, his quality is high, so I guess people just never loose hope that there will actually something tangible coming xD

If delay (as usual) I would say the release would be around mid September or so. I would be impress if he can make a good excuse to get out of it. That's exactly what I was thinking but he would have to release it in September. His team put him in a tight spot with the progress updates (thank you team!!) and the last one was Bob and Linda with it being around 70 or 80%? and that was well over a week ago, so he have to release it in September.

Got a new theory.
What if Iscstor is living on a zepplin that goes around the world against the way the date line goes.
Circumnavigating the entire globe in 23 hours, he is constantly traveling back in time by 1 hour every day. Therefore, when he sets a release date, that date never actually arrives for him, thus he never has to release it.

It's quite sad though, I used to be a Patreon of ICSTOR, and after his lies and delays stopped my membership years ago. the sad part is that what he did made me jaded and I haven't been able to trust a single creator ever again, so what he's doing is not only scummy towards his own patreons but also towards the whole industry, he is damaging great up and coming creators by his conducts and making people hesitate in becoming patreon.

He’s probably figuring out how to delay or having a mental break down again (he reminds me of my old ex “friend” a lot) even if his team finished the game they can’t release it unless Icstor says so

so the thing is he'd been one of the pioneers in the adult game industry specifically the rapey, forced, incesty stuff that is desired by most of the PAYING customers. he's had 3 or 4 full and 2-3 short games already completed prior to milfy city but due to the changes in patreon TOS they are not available on the page, you can find them here or on his website. then when he released milfy city with much better CG (at that time) his following skyrocketed. can't deny what he has done in the past to gain such a cult like following which is probably the biggest reason why people still pay him.
But, he's taken that support for granted and repeatedly lied to and took advantage of his supporters since then, which is why the hate is so strong against him.

If you really want to be successful in today's market which is already saturated with so much porn content you will need to stand out quite a lot. just good CG isn't gonna cut it anymore. there are far too many factors involved for a person to be able to do it alone, let alone part-time. many creators have been swayed looking at what the top earners make any start games but very quickly abandon them because people aren't as quick to show their support anymore. and with OF and other such websites being on the rise in recent years it's even harder to get that support, simply because they can push out content every few weeks with minimal effort without the restrictions on patreon. and also most prefer live action to animated.
unless you have like an outstanding rig that can help you pump out large updates consistently you are looking at atleast 2-3 years of development just to get to like $2k-3k, and even that if your game is good and your updates are consistent and the content is worth weeks or month long wait.
