"Project X" is not even the real name of the newly upcoming game. It's just a placeholder for the things to come. If he really is working on X, then, at the current pace, I guess that the first teaser will be released earliest beginning next year.

It seems to me that this isn't even just a icstor thing, other developers are getting in on the game and doing it as well, just not as bad. On one hand Patron is a good way to help, on the other it's bad because it's a rolling monthly sub that keeps giving them money with no real need to do anything on their part after that.
If Patron was just a one time donation I think things would've been different. Or if more people would just wake up and stop supporting without a solid update schedule. Oh well, a fool and his money are quickly parted. The best thing would've been to release for a nice low price, people would pay, and developers would have to actually finish projects.
What I'm really looking forward to is Subverse from Studio FOW. That thing's actually a real game, and is even up on Steam and I'm willing to buy it at this point.

I assume you mean 100% as far as the game stands right now? The game isn't 100% complete so no 100% save exists.

Agreed. Unfortunately, most of the better games are still very new and early in dev cycle. Not enough content to bust too many nuts over. One needs mad patience for this genre of porn

Indeed. Unfortunately, having patience doesn't always pay off. Too many great games with good renders die off young, and (in my opinion at least) with the best characters having the least content.

Yes, it is a slow progress because of the amount of work that needs to be done to make it good. Most projects are handled by a single person, who is probably a student at the time or has free time between the McDonalds shifts. A lot drop out because of the amount of work, slow progress and the uncertainty if it becomes a success. It's a huge hit and miss business. Most miss and go away.
