Majority agrees that Caroline's story is nonsense garbage, not some best heroic romantic masterpiece like you and this other mentally unstable guy likes to portray it, and I already destroyed your vision of it last time. Let me get this straight, you like Caroline's content right? It takes him a year to produce the end of her main story, along with Celia's i might add(2018-2019), but let us not forget that it wasn't done at first. It took him an additional 2 months to produce the proper animations for their scenes after an entire year hiatus. Then he goes dark for over a year and a half(Dec 2019-July 2021), with only updates about delays saying that he is "certainly" working on the game. He only comes out of his cave to produce an update because of an abandoned tag and in his own words, "people are impatient," like he is doing them a favor. Then, he even delays the update again because "storms," and when it finally drops, the content is clearly like two weeks of work. So, now that that is recapped, explain to me how someone, "gives him the benefit of the doubt cause we got an update."
I mean as you said, we shall see, but I would, and am, far more of a skeptic I guess, and less trusting of people once they have lied over and over like he has. One update does not change that for me.

I have to agree here. Yes I am cynical, jaded perhaps, but honestly, I'm not really trying to show it here my friend.
This was my first ever VN, and I found it by chance at the beginning of the US lockdown last year, which I've said in this thread a gazillion times. Caroline with the first VN girl I truly had some sort of emotional attachment to, and I guess that's why I'm willing to give ICSTOR a bit of slack or leeway after one update, despite it's length, it's content, or the waiting period in-between updates.
It's hard to play Devil's Advocate with one's own brain and believe me I've been called A LOT of names in this thread, all of which are sitting in a rotting pile of ignored members I have in my crawlspace
Anyway, I understand what you're saying my friend, I do. Lies, silence, false promises and missed opportunities have done nothing to his reputation or career besides making it worse. I'm trying to be somewhat realistic, but I don't want to fully listen to my own brain and follow what it's partially saying and walk away from this game. I don't if I can or if I could.
We got our update. I'm not fully convinced about ANYTHING until I see the finished product. Whether we have to relive the same shitstorm in two weeks that we just went through is anyone's guess. But you know what? I've come this far and I've waited this long. Might as well plant my umbrella and my beach chair along with my cooler full of Ito En green tea and wait.

Please help me!!! I can't play. I open the game, load my save, but i can't click the buttons. They work on the main screen, but ingame buttons don't. Even delete all my saves, and this error persist. I think that is my PC because the same thing happens with other renpy games(not all of them). I don't know what to do. Hope someone can help me. Sorry for my english.

I get that and I do agree that it's been sad to see how this game ended up. I originally found it on UploadHaven WAYYY before I found out about this place.
I can't tell you my friend, how many times per week did I check on this game for updates. Week after week, month after month. Now, understand, I knew NOTHING about ICSTOR during this period. It wasn't until I came here at the beginning of this year and understood everything and why I was sitting by the telephone waiting for someone to call, sort to speak, and it never happened.
I've held on to the smallest SLIVERS of hope that I would see the end of Caroline's story with the MC and the completion of this game in general.
IF it does, I will feel justified and vindicated waiting for it sitting through all the harsh criticism I have taken here.
If it doesn't happen, that's on me, and my time wasted for this game. Either way, I'm here.
