That error starts to happen after you to talk to some NPCs. Until the game is patched / updated, the solution is not to click on any non quest related NPC.

It is unbearably stupid to make the maps so big, and the quests are reduced to running around and finding the quest point.
this engine was chosen is also not clear. No author has been able to make quality content on all this space. Well, or create with the help of this ugly, uncomfortable, pixel-like, high-quality atmosphere. What for? Slap mini-games or shitty boevki with a bunch of meaningless stats ??????
I'd really love a well done game with NC/Blackmail/Humiliation content, especially with this level of artwork (and the stockings and pantyhose, oh yeah!).

Also, with regards to switching engines in the future, just be aware that can cause more problems than it solves and will likely set your development time back quite significantly leading to potentially lost revenue.
The question then becomes, is the risk worth gaining potentially more revenue from people that do not like RPGM.
From my experience a well coded RPGM game can be just as good as virtually any other platform.
I'd recommend just sticking with RPGM for this game and make it as good as you possibly can. Save switching engines for a future game or DLC.

And there is a question - Why put scrolling on the escape? Why does scrolling affect answer choices? Why the choice is made on the right click on a blank screen? .....
