What is the best route in relation to the development of the MC and his mother?

If you're talking about what gives the most lewd scenes, corruption currently. Also, nothing has really happened with the mom in the game on either path.
I agree! This dev has been milking this one WAY TOO LONG!!! Get to finishing already!!

It's only 5 minutes if you Ctrl-skip. But if you're just being hyperbolic, I would agree that there wasn't all that much to this update.
I don't know what the developer wants to do with this NV, but it starts to seem like Don Quixote's book: With many illusions, and heavy.

Well i enjoyed it and like always look forward to the next update. I'm alright with the more subtle Renpy porn VN's like this; the soppy romanceing & unfolding story which many seem to have a meltdown about. Personally love the Romance route, I always play both & Corruption isn't that bad either in terms of my expectation of corruption haveing experienced other games. MM's corruption is more like a heated passion & light (more serious now) tease's, allowing freedom not taking control of the bad habbits but supporting through it whereas the Romance is a more careing protector, not taking advantage & in control of the bad habbits so they don't spiral. Each still playout like a romance really & i like were the side plot is going with the father and his criminal organization which only leads to more support through unfolding events.
For those with the blue balling issue's.. that's apart of this & the dev's vision by now it's obvious. If you don't get or have that connection with built up suspense to add to this erotica then whatever it's not for you. I can only hope you are not that desperate in real life. But for those with urge's post finishing the update you have two choice's.. look at a prior scene/ pic or and what i do, jump to another VN game or vid.
Also shout out to the dev if you even come here. Given the time of year, a Christmas themed update/ point in the game would be perfect with this type of story & paceing.

I don't think you understand where people are coming from with this game. The game is almost 3 years old and version 18/major release#8 has the first full sex scene. Its the releases cycles people hate with it being a slow burn that has most likely 2 patches that follow it major before the next chapter is started on. The bad dad storyline is a McGuffin it's never meaningful and it always is used to break away from the actual plot and every time it shows up it gets bigger and might in time actually overshadow the main plot which then the game would have gotten into bad writing territory.
The honest answer is neither get you anywhere at the moment ... perhaps in 2024 I will be able to advise you.
game is still in development, there aren't any routes to be honest, there isn't enough content to justify not taking the corruption route

Well, there really is romance vs. corruption on the mom. There are scenes at entirely different locations and there are many dialogue changes. The mom even acts differently with romance vs. corruption. There is a very large amount that's the same, of course, but there are more than enough differences to justify having a second path for when the more advanced scenes eventually do come.

update from v0.18 to v0.18.1 just for only 2 soundtracks - are you kidding ?
something else seems very different: the v0.18 i got is around 1,1gb sized and the v0.18.1 now is only 743mb ?!?!?
no idea what that means, but i better wait for the next content-update.

Don't know, seems this game is going into a bit of Dual Family territory, with this endless back and forth, with no real development.
I really liked this, I have no problem with slow burn, but the romance route is so slow, it is practically freezing, and now you have to play from the start yet again?
If I could give the dev one advice at this stage of the game, it would be to get to the literally mother-fucking point.

Yeah, unfortunate. I did already replay both routes, though. So you don't have to replay, I'm attaching both romance (the first attachment) and corruption (the second attachment) paths, should you just want to start with v0.18 content instead of replaying everything from before.
