This is by design, confirmed by the dev. The beach event will happen again in the future and that's where it's supposed to continue.

agreed.. and making the start screen intro more appealing might help too.. 1st time i played it i hated the quality and scrapped it before the change name screen.. but being stubborn and seeing it pop up time and again on latest i gave it another try and loved the multi layers of it

If im in my own on this then so be it but Misfits should be its own franchise.. the fact it has to pay off events to fit the 12 days story (which i didnt enjoy) seems a bit constricting of a narrative that could stand alone and have multiple seasons of the fun chaos n hijinks these characters get up to..
That way there would be more freedom of choice on events that unfold while still fulfilling the ntr fans routes and story routes..
The dev should establish Misfits as its own bubble that way its free to write it own story instead of just paying off what is to come in the 'lesser' game

Yeah the dev says its because of where her character has to go in the 12 days sequel.. pregame made to this.. its why i suggested that he treat misfits as its own franchise.. he is having to work to a established future rather than having a bit more freedom and story freedom.. mc should have been able to interrupt the moment with the biker.. as i said before i dont mind ntr stuff it can be fun at times.. but when a story element THAT important is taken out of our control.. then its an issue
