I think that's a pretty valid question, as about half the AVNs I see get completed have updates after the tag is first applied. Now and Then is getting another update and it's been complete a while. SolValley School got so many updates after finishing that the Dev finally took off the completed tag. ;)
The dev has thread ownership and the game is complete. He even announced the trailer for his next project.
It ain't that hard. In 99% of cases complete means complete. Let's not mention the search bar... People might actually use it. ;)

99% is a gross exaggeration, probably closer to 60, Not to mention the huge number of games that are not close to complete, but the Dev wants to move on, so tags them complete anyway, but sure, whatever you say. (y)

I've seen 2 different games get marked as complete only for it to be rolled back within 3 days, Four Elements Trainer was the most recent example of it. 1.0 came out and the mods marked it as done and now look at it.

Just wanted to make sure because it can be easy to see "Main Story Done" and assume the game is completed and something gets mismarked.

Also i tried to search to see if my question was asked and I couldn't find it.

You mean a big number from 0.11 and 1.0.3 and no new content....... BOOOOOO! :p:p:p:p:p
Yup, that's how game versioning is supposed to work (kinda). Content complete before 1.0, final release is 1.0+ (I know you were joking, I just wanted to express my appreciation of that tidbit).

Not just a you problem, the game loses it towards the end.

The beginning was nice, tense horror and also had a sense of mystery.
But then it just kinda goes downhill with all sense of suspense gone and everyone just really horny every 5 minutes.

Not to mention so many time the plot seems to just DRAG on...
Especially when you constantly go back and forth exploring.
You find something, you go back hone, then go back in, find another thing, go back home...etc.
agreed

How do you stay alive, lily kills you with a hammer, not enough stamina to learn magic.

Just completed the story last night and I'm pretty happy with the ending. Solid stuff. I just wish we could have continued playing after the story so we could have had some more fun with the girls while they are pregnant. Would have loved to see the kids actually getting born too... I'm especially curious how Nori's kid would have looked like.

The game was perfect. I hope you still keep making games. I wish the continuation of your success.

99% is being a bit generous. There's plenty AVNs with the tag that have a rushed and unsatisfying conclusion due to dev burnout or just wanting to be done with it. I'd say more like 80-85% is a closer estimation.

Yeah I admit... I pulled that percentage out of my ass... :KEK:

What I meant to say is that in most cases the complete tag means the game is complete. ;)
