I'm going pretty slowly at the moment with some irl situations making future unpredictable. I do something every day no matter how small, so I will eventually crawl to the finish line, but preferably I'll be on a greater pace eventually.

You need to "check" instead of "dig". You will find a passage in one of the mines. Beware with the guards time.

Try avoiding her instead? Fighting the guards is actually counterproductive - even if you win, you waste energy and do not advance with the tunnel digging. The way to go about it is to figure the time slots when the guards are not around and do the tunnel digging then.
