That's a good observation, not only goblins, orcs, and monkeys/apes, there are ugly/aggressive aliens and all sorts of fantasy creatures in that category. it's definitely a projection of male dominance. to control the female is viagra to most men, not all men.
when a woman sees this game/comic is she the ugly or the beauty? two points of perspective.
Men are more visual when sex is involved, women are less visual and more cerebral and practical.
(just my thoughts, not being a woman
)
Not to mention, old, dilapidated men, fat bums, and other conventionally ugly, dirty and repulsive characters. Its as if they enjoy taking away even the aesthetic enjoyment of the girl. Probably because they are indeed ugly (or see themselves as such), and being thus unworthy of actual attraction from the fairer sex, they can only achieve closeness by forcing themselves onto them.
If they identify with the dominant character, then why do dominant males portray basically themselves as ugly, what is so satisfying in seeing yourself as something ugly dominating something beautiful? It feels to me like an impulse to destroy beauty.
The complete opposite of the impulse to serve women. We who love femdom, see women, the dominant party as more beautiful, almost divine like an impulse to admire/worship. This is also quite visual from a sub male's perspective, yet still completely different. Our submission to them [women] is in essence a submission to beauty, while from a dominant female perspective they also see themselves as worthy to be on top, as the more beautiful, the superior being, worthy of being exalted [based on the feedback I received].
In contrast again, identifying with a beer-belied, wart-filled hobgoblin, does not compute as seeing yourself as more worthy, in fact quite the opposite, its as if its more about some kind of revenge based on a feeling of inferiority in the face of obvious and objective aesthetic superiority of the female form.
There is a contrast here I can't completely put my fingers on, but questions like these are interesting to me. So, thanks for your input, I don't wanna derail the thread with this discussion, so if you have anything else to add, lets do it in a private pm.
PS: [I'm not as much interested in how sub females feel this dynamic is, since that could have its internal logic if they feel themselves unworthy of being loved or appreciated.]
