is the blue will-temple guide going to get a bust anytime soon?
That's actually going to be the focus for the very next update after all of the bug-fixes for v23 have been released and Thresh has had a day or two to rest and recharge from overhauling the mechanics for the entire game. So yes, Kotone will have her art very soon. Kotone has a large amount of expressions and variants for her art, more than any other character currently, so that in combination with the sheer amount of content she has, will cause it to be quite the involved update, especially if we receive new content such as the planned jumbo tail scene along with it.

While this is not much, I do hope that you find this at least a little informative, user84.

Now, for a general comment on the generalist vs specialist builds discussion. Do remember that level 100 will be the eventual level cap once the Reincarnation system arrives, no ETA on this however. Additionally, if new perks and skills arrive later, they will likely be in the next tier/bracket and require say 60 of the relevant stat rather than the 40 needed for the current top-tier skills. So, eventually you'll be more limited in the points you have to experiment with and you'll have to choose whether you want access to a variety of mid-tier skills with decent stats across the board or if you want to have high-tier skills with a mix of developed attributes relevant to your build while those not needed for your skills and perks languish.

I do hope that everyone interested in this debate finds this a little enlightening.

Running the numbers real quick in my head, makes sense why a respec system got put in place. Since the time it'd take to make individual characters capable of reaching the high tier skills would be pretty damn exhausting (to speak nothing of if you spent one too many levels on off build stats, without realizing until hours too late)

Assuming it's safe to go after 20's in all your stats, then I don't have any problems with encouraging a specialist build, since those 20 stat skills give enough options usually (like the good ol fashioned lewd bottle cheese) in case something is just a brick wall if you use your main stuff

I always feel like I got to put some early stats into raw hp/mp early on, being able to double my life and mana makes things so easy but then I don't get any stats for a little while.

Kinda wish there were other ways to raise hp/mp but I don't know if there are.

Weird damage glitch, also going full allure and your recoil doing as much damage as their attacks or more is pretty funny.

Hmmi I might restart and go full on allure, I like playing the seduction game anyway and I'm not very far.

I get the feeling that my old version of the game won't work.
could I carry a save over or do I just have to restart the game (I have like a 80+ Lv. character ;-; )

Making a bit more headway, playing the game from the start again with the new stat system.

Stat-wise, I've made a relatively balanced build, shooting for 20s across the board before investing any further. I currently have tech, allure, and willpower in that area, and things seem to be working well. Also, I wanted to try an allure build, since I didn't do that in the previous versions.

I cleared Power-side of the temple relatively easy, and even managed to beat full-power Feng at sub-lv30, albeit with a great deal of Luck.

My biggest concern regarding balance is Intelligence having access to Teleport, the only escape move that breaks restraints instantly.

Getting to 40 in that stat seems reasonable, considering how good that skill is, but at the same time, considering how the Stat check rerolls have been reworked, I am concerned about a certain difficult stat check during a certain fight that will lock you in a very powerful restraint if you fail, where struggling for even two turns or so could prove fatal.

Of course, I would need to reach that fight to be sure, and do so without Sleep, which is also locked behind a 40-Int requirement

As I see it, any effort to balance the game would be futile if a good mix of power/tech and perks couldn't break even with Teleport.

Also, just an idle suggestion, but maybe add some more weight to Willpower on the temptation stat checks, to balance out the limited number of skill/perks you get from investing in said stat?

I like this new version, and the stat changes don't seem bad. But there appears to be a translation issue with some of the new content.

OK tried it again and still cant quite get mods working. Is there a link to a more in-depth mod walkthrough for a newbie like myself?

Well, have you actually checked How-To-Install-Mods.txt in the Monster Girl Dreams folder? As long as you followed that guide everything should work correctly, I have no idea why it wouldn't.

Is it just me, or got the game even more lagged during fights? It sometimes takes up to 3 seconds for the next window to open, especially when there's more than one opponent.
