Call you history teacher and say him that hes a bad teacher.
Oh, so multiple sources that confirm the facts are the result of bad information? Or, perhaps you're the one who doesn't know what they're talking about. Seems to be a going theme with you, bud.

It fails at what it takes, like not too hard, but noticeable. At least at the beginning.
Given you haven't played the entire game and deleted it after what, getting to the second Iron Maiden fight which, by the way, is really friggin easy and despite that, there is also a guide for the game in its own thread on this forum. It's not like you would have to work too hard to get past certain parts.

I can download and try to beat it to the end with the help of guides and cheat engine, but I really doubt that I change my opinion even after reading all really sad-sad backstories of all characters.
Sad-sad, like Undertale? Like your 10/10 MGQ, whose story hits way-too-predictable beats and barely works outside being a porn game? Also, if you need cheats to beat a game, it says a lot about you. Dark Souls, as an example, is a game about trial and error. You learn by experiencing failure, and retrying an area before mastering it. Games shouldn't reward the player for turning their system on. It should require the player to figure out how to get past a certain part and then seek to do it better on subsequent playthroughs.

Im not.
Only thing that objectively good is that its really long story that didnt falling off on pieces as it progresses.
And again, you didn't bother playing Shrift. At all. You're wildly speculating that, based on your experience with a non-porn title and your barely-qualified experience with a porn game, that the latter fails because you weren't given a free pass for opening the game folder. Welcome to the real world.

Not so long ago I "speedrun" MGQ with cheats to make a complete save list for certain someone, WHO DIDNT APPRECIATED IT AT ALL (I know you reading this). And even with holding down "skip dialog" and skip battle cheats it have taken around 3 hours.
I doubt that person cares enough to stalk you around the forums. Also, if it takes you 3 hours to get past MGQ with a cheat engine and skipping all dialogue, yikes. Most of the battles are fairly easy with obvious strategies The game even telegraphs every fight and what skills to use. You have to be completely brain-dead to need any level of help in them. The only one that drags unnecessarily is the final boss, and most of her hp gets wittled down around the 2/3rd mark.

Im not aware of any other game, yet another VN, that are that linear and that long that holds together entire time. That a lot of "that"-s.
Then you haven't heard of, or played too many games or VN's, if your measure for "good storytelling" and "good gameplay" is MGQ.

Thanks for the link, Oh and don't worry, I'm a Patient one. i was there when "Mogi-Origins" had their crowd-funding, and i'm still waiting for them to finish that game. i can play the waiting game just fine.
I moved on from MoGi long ago, after the "team" recruited an alleged "tech" company in India to help them develop their game, only to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a level that wasn't even coded with a background after two years of "work." There's incompetence, and then there's whatever doing something that stupid can be called.

Beat the maze and at the end got an invisible enemy that crashed the game. Upon loading my save at the 4th level I constantly get no enemy battles which crash game. An absurd amount of time for any kind of update and now the game is just broken. I try to leave the maze, invisible enemy, game crash. Wasted so much time on some weird mini game to get a crash and no real content.

....o-okay, mo-moving on...

10/10 MGQ
No, more like 7/10.

Also, if you need cheats to beat a game, it says a lot about you.
Point was in making list of saves as fast as possible, not in beating it again.

You're wildly speculating that, based on your experience with a non-porn title and your barely-qualified experience with a porn game, that the latter fails because you weren't given a free pass for opening the game folder
What?
And yes, if I dont like what Im eating Im not finish my plate to get a conclusion "I did not like it".

Also, if it takes you 3 hours to get past MGQ with a cheat engine and skipping all dialogue, yikes.
Again, point was in making a list of saves, not in beating it.

The game even telegraphs every fight and what skills to use. You have to be completely brain-dead to need any level of help in them.
I can name straight away two places where its not obvious what skill you should use.

Final fight with a Chrome, first encounter. She uses zombies to 'bind' you. How unbind yourself? By using 'struggle'? Heh, no. You should use 'attack', despite game previously taught you that to free yourself from bindings you should use 'struggle'.

Fight with two ninjas near some village. You should use 'wind aka speed' buff. Pretty obvious, ninjas are as fast and unexpected as diarrhea, everybody knows that. But than in the middle of a fight, after you defeat one of ninjas, second one starts to use unavoidable binding attack, to struggle from which you should have 'earth aka strength' buff. And this is before a moment you learn how to use wind and earth buffs together.

your measure for "good storytelling" and "good gameplay" is MGQ.
Where exactly I 'measure' that? Show me exact citation where I said that.
For a reference, good storyteling IMO is in disco elisium (story only), to the moon (rpgm btw) and in driver san francisco (but its mostly because it integrated directly into gameplay).
And good gameplay, again in IMO, is in doom1/2 (3 and further are... controversial), quake 3 (for true cyber athletes), age of empires 2 (le classice), cnc tiberium wars (kane wrath good too but...) and factorio.
Lists are not complete.

well, actually in this forum have a rule about update games:"you can only make one update for week(or months I may be mistake)" so if you going to update your own game try release a bunch of upgrades so you won't keep break the update's limits and this come with some punishmento or at least that was what I read a long time ago, btw a bot will be in charge of the updates in the thread that break this rule very often, maybe this was what happen.
Games can't go on the front page too often, but there's no rules against releasing bug fixes, that would just be plain retarded.

What's the current best way to grind exp when you're already high level (50+) ?

high level (50+) ?
:D:LOL::ROFLMAO:
Yes, high level... Vili + phantasms, oni twins, Ven, Sophia even... Choose your victim among the one that's best suited for you, ie you can take down the fastest. Be sure to wear the relevant XP+ runes and accessories.
If you get bored, try out a mod of your choosing. You'll get good XP out of new cute girls (Beach mod was rather imbalanced when it came to rewards, for example). Aim for level 70ish for Labyrinth (90+ if you're a newb), no more or you'll get too buff and will need to restart a new game.

I'd say mostly Sophia. If grinding becomes too boring for you, you can always mod the vanilla game (or an existent mod) to make a character of your choosing give you way more EXP than what was originally intended, for example, I changed Feng's amount of EXP given in Diminuendo mod (among all her combat moves and text, but it's just a side note) to a whopping 5000. I did that when it felt at level 121 that it took forever to level up, and that every MG wasn't match for me.

Great and update!
Are all the mods in the Working Mods section still working after the latest updates?

Also a suggestion: please add the date of the updates to the change log (besides the version).

I'm very excited to play this new version but I stopped playing for around a year and am not sure which version I played last. Btw, have there been any updates to Trisha or to the Matangos? I wish I could make a mod for them but I can't write adult scenes :geek:

Granted, they aren't exactly doing a wonderful job at creating their game, all i wanna say is, if i haven't lost patience with them, i sure won't lose patience with other slow developers anytime soon.

v24.c is now out to properly fix the Venefica quest error.
Edit: v24.d is now out to fix a debug thing I left in and an error with one of Iabel's attacks.

ThresholdMGD if a mod that we've been playing with hasn't been updated yet is it safe to play without it and add it again later once it has?
They're generally fine but weird things can happen depending on both mod and what happens in the update.

Waifupocalypse now has a game crashing bug in the Imp's Den because it tries to call for the old Imp art files. Bamboo Road caused a graphical glitch that while not game crashing, did tile the panda girl into several scenes she wasn't present for, pushing the image of the MG that was present into an odd corner.

I have installed and so far haven't seen any bugs regarding:
Artificial Love
Beach Party
Dirty Cheats Done For Free
Dragon's Den
Fiore
Gorgon's Garden
Ilveria
Night Gaunt's Lair
Oneiros

Dragon's Den doesn't have any problem even with the map rework ?

Nice.
