Imo there are things that could be a lot better in TitS, but...

this game seems to have gotten ginormous since i played it almost 5 years ago.
Can someone tell me what the transformation content in this game is by now?
i remember last time there wasnt all that much in it except some temporary transformation where your dick turns into a mushroom i think lul

here there isn't transformation content or, in other words, you can't be anything other than a male human and the others can't be anything other than themselves.

I installed a shrinking mod, since it gives quite a lot of new content, but tied to it's quest seems to be a new enemy. Human Adventurer Gwen. Who is a futa (and I don't remember installing that mod).
Anyway, she seems unbeatable. She has 400 HP and three lives, but she apparently heals for more than you can damage her each turn as a free action.
I was curious if anyone beat her, but it seems that no one here even mentioned her. She's also not listed anywhere on wiki.

I've beaten her quite easily but I am often very overleved in comparison to what I fight. For whatever it's worth I stacked sense weakness with power up and then used some random attack like breast fondle (or something else depending on weaknesses). She's part of the shrinking mod for some reason and I tend to avoid her and one other enemy since futa isn't my thing.

Futa also isn't my thing, but my gamer autism is nagging me to complete all sidequests. Thanks anyway. It seems the best method ist to stack on buffs/debuffs and then go for the big damage in single turn.

Late, but if you have a PS4-5 type controller plugged into your PC, try unplugging it. There's been reports of players experiencing extreme lag due to that, for some mysterious reason. Probably some Ren'py weirdness.

Very strange thing to ask for a renpy game, in fact mgd is on the better side in terms of less text clutter, if you want less text, go play a rpgm, unity or any other engine but the one specifically made for visual novels

What I wish they had was support for videos in mods. I've thought about messing around with trying to hard mod a scene or character myself to add the functionality. I think some live 2d vids could go a long way in this game.

It's obvious the dev realizes that there is a problem with the amount of visual content because a lot of their dev time has went to fleshing out older fights. Like slime girl, alraune, minotaur, imp, mika, and some others; all have more scenes for their stances than they did a year ago.

More images AND more text, given that you're a long time member i assume you've seen actual VN but mgd genuinely is hardly the worst renpy text mess out there.

Thank you for providing a perfect example of an irrational knee-jerk white knight. I didn't say I didn't like the game anywhere, and I didn't say that being text heavy was a bad thing. I've been a backer of the game on SubStar for ages in fact. But you are acting like it is a personal affront to you that someone accurately describes the game as being text based.

For a long time, there were no CGs at all and many of the girls didn't even have sprites. I say again, the fact that anyone tries to deny that the game is heavily slanted towards text is insane.

Not really. Most VNs just use the same still over and over. They have more unique images, but fewer art assets because of that. Threshold commissioning the art in pieces so he can mix and match microexpressions is one of my favorite things about MGD. It makes it feel a lot more dynamic.

In a VN, I often spend multiple minutes staring at the same image as it gives line after line. In MGD, I often see little changes matching what is happening in the text. And I love that.

What vns are you playing these days? Basically any game I've seen that uses 2d art behind a textbox to exposit at least has a few facial expressions.

So how do either of those make the claim that the game isn't text heavy? The first one just says it is relatively less text heavy compared to other renpy games. A game can still be text heavy while having less text than other games. The second one doesn't make any claim at all about how much text it has.

Which is simply not true at all. The only games that are more text heavy are text only games, and those are almost exclusively HTML games, Renpy games tend to be the most picture heavy because of the way the engine is designed.
