Yea im not gonna lie, anyone who says this game isn't like 65-70% femdom is smoking something lol
Why would perks change your perception since they're just a state change?I stopped toward the end of the temple when I last played awhile back, but I did as much content as I had access to character-wise. I agree with you that some characters like Minoni, Mika, and others are less femdom oriented and either have a relatively even amount of scenes or are mostly/entirely maledom focused.
I suppose my perception of why I consider the game to lean more readily into femdom territory is the sheer number of perks you can pick up through repeated interactions. Specifically: Auria has a findom perk, Kotone has 5 levels for her hypnosis perks (with another 2 being her blessing > lover path), Mara has 2 different perks, with Teacher's Pet being the third (I don't remember if this one replaced one of the first two), Stella has two levels to her lipstick perk, Venefica has two perks, Vili has two perks (one being positive), and Vivian's two perks. You can also pick up a perk for Matango, though the effects seem to be a double-edged sword and I'm not sure offhand if it's more of a penalty.
So like, while there may very well be a more balanced mix of scenes overall, most of the unlockable perks you can unlock from these character interactions are only done so through getting dominated. Obviously there's objectively positive perks like the ones from various food buffs and church blessings, but the only ones that /aren't/ acquired by being dominated repeatedly are the Manticore (ironic example in this discussion given her proclivity for domination), Amber, Selena, and Sofia.
Obviously these negative perks are usually more of a handicap than a straight boon, but the sheer amount of negative perks you can pick up from a diverse range of characters as they dominate you repeatedly solidly skews the game toward a femdom direction in my view. Like I mentioned earlier though, it's possible this shifts later on to help balance this out. But honestly at the end of the day it doesn't really matter if the game overtly leans toward one direction over another, as all of the content that I've seen has been done well.
That doesn't make any sense. Those perks represent changes imposed on your character by one of the monster girls, so obviously they are for the femdom content. The reverse would be changes that the MC makes to a girl, which would not be a perk that the MC has, it would be a perk that the girl has, but NPCs don't have perks like that; changes to NPC behaviour are stored in game variables instead.I stopped toward the end of the temple when I last played awhile back, but I did as much content as I had access to character-wise. Thank you very much for your answear! Im looking forward to such an update.<3Hey! Glad that you've been having a good time and the writing has been enjoyable for you!
Concerning your question, the Elf is among the game's generic enemies, meaning that rather than a specific character, she's representative of a category of monster girls, just like the Blue Slime or Alraune, as opposed to characters like Kyra or Perpetua, who are specific individuals. So although the game has a lot of erotic scenes with Elves, there's no dedicated romance for "the Elf"... But the dev has mentioned that at some point in the future, he'd like to include an Elf Village in the game, so there may be content in that vein at that point, though there's no set ETA on when that'll happen.
I hope that answers your question!
Leaving aside the discussion, I'm surprised that there are some NPCs that have content and i would probably die without knowing if no one told me. It never crossed my mind that Mara would have perks that I could get lolMara has 2 different perks
The Elf is what hooked me to this game, not only because of the writing during battle and erotic scenes, but also because the CGs are looking so goddamn good. Never did I feel so much satisfaction to lose a battle than in this game. I even edited the Elf.json-file to include some screenshake animations and white pulsing effects during her CG attacks (which you see some in the Slime, Imp and Vili battles for example), because I enjoyed it so much to battle (and lose to) the Elf, to a point I played a little minigame of "How many Elven ambushes and threesomes can I survive in a row?", while still being at the beginning of the game and leveling luck. The build-your-own-dungeon-feature in this game was very useful for that and I had fun for a long time. I attached the file updated for the current build (v27.2a) for anyone interested.I just started playing this game and i absolutely love how detailed the erotic scenes are described. Is there any way to romance the first Elf monster girl?

There are also some events with Elves at the bar, but unfortunately they don't make use of the sex CGs (yet?). With the CGs currently present, you could theoretically make a 'foursome' during the group of Elves event, with each of them taking / having turns.
The latest update now features victory scenes with Elves, which I am pleasantly surprised with, albeit missing some action for my liking, but don't get me wrong, I am still thankful for it.
...Well, now I know what Elena was talking about...
There are also some unused CGs aswell, which I never seen in this game at all, and I am looking forward to them being used one day or another ... and also for this game's future in general. Cheers!
To be very honest, I was a little bit overwhelmed with how much text the game gives you to read, especially at the start. I think it has something to do with the text-to-textbox ratio. It's easier for me to read more textboxes with 3 or 4 liners than less textboxes with 6 or 7 liners, but I might be an exception. Anyway, wondering if this game was for me (and I like text based BFRPGs), I started goofing around, and I found features that were actually pretty cool, played a little bit ... and then the Elf incident happened. This was the moment I got hooked, there was no point of return anymore, and I don't regret it either. Most normal Elf fan.
Jokes aside, thanks for the praise! It's great to know that you're so into the game (or at least one of its characters). Shame that the recent Elf Victory scene hasn't been to your taste, but hey, to each their own.
Thank you as well for your well wishes, and here's hoping you'll be enjoying future releases and additions!

There were actually a lot of things I enjoyed throughout this game. Customizing your own dungeon with Nightmare mode is one thing. The next thing is character progression, which I was unexpected of and in my case it was with Trisha (need Trisha healing!) confessing her true form to you and being able to get a perk on top of that, which also gives you a reason to re-visit dungeons, and thus made my Elf minigame I played more rewarding somehow, which is funny. Also, the Imp Den. I kinda played the same minigame there and tried to win the intense 12-Imp-Battle-Royale I stood against, with the sick boss music in the background, and with me only skilled in luck so far i could only "hope and pray something goes wrong", and if it happened often, I either won this battle or I lose to the very last Imp(s), but when I won, the sweet experience, oh man! I had a lot of fun in this one aswell. For a dynamic multi, multi, multi-group battle (did I mention multi yet?), the drawn CGs are very creative, mainly the silhouettes appearing when a new Imp joins the battle. The fact that there is literally a file called "Imp_Expressions_XD.png" made me chuckle for some reason
. The whole Imp Den scenario was hilarious, well designed and well written. Then when I tried to get gear to increase EXP gains, some characters commented on the collar I equipped and I get additional dialog options! It's those small things, the game acknowledging stuff you have or stuff you did, and characters reacting to that or reacting to relating character's events, which makes this special. And the Tengu, the battle dialog and options you can have with her and her potentially losing because of them, very amusing.
Just to name a few. I am pretty sure there are more secret interactions or events hidden in this game somewhere I have yet to uncover and maybe I see them in my next playthrough. There was not a single character I disliked so far. Every character is unique in their own way. There were only a few (like 2 or 3) characters that were not visually appealing to me, but that is just a taste thing, which is a non-issue. This game is very wholesome and just screams "I love monster girls!" and I can see the passion that flows into it.
I am really glad I didn't quit it. I don't know if I made it clear enough, but I really enjoyed playing this.
To the development team: Thank you for creating this gem!
I would say it's because the perks deepen the experience. Like yeah you won 1/10/100 times against the same enemy and got a saucier maledom scene, cool. But there's almost always nothing past that that you the player take with you, aside from a relationship that may or may not go that deep (if it even has a romance path at all). But if I get fucked up by that one Matango encounter? Now I have that perk that influences future encounters. Sure, that's an extreme example that's easily cured at the church, but there's plenty of other perks that continue to (optionally) impact your gameplay long past your last encounter with whoever, and I think that adds to the character's development in a more substantial way.Why would perks change your perception since they're just a state change?
It doesn't relate at all to the sexual content in the game?
Personally I like the light-hearted atmosphere of the game and the easy-come easy-go nature of most of the encounters.I would say it's because the perks deepen the experience. That being said, it would be cool if the perk system had a similar depth for those who are maxing out these other character relationships that don't necessarily have a perk, but I digress.
Genuinely feel like you're ignoring the scenes you don't like to focus on the ones you do, and you're coming to tell me that's how the game is.I would say it's because the perks deepen the experience. IIRC, every female monster has a femdom scene for when they beat you.Genuinely feel like you're ignoring the scenes you don't like to focus on the ones you do, and you're coming to tell me that's how the game is.
My only argument is that MGD is a switch game with a slight femdom leaning.
I fundamentally disagree that the perks influence the sexual leaning of the game to any significant degree, because all they are, are permanent state changes. The actual scenes and ways you can get them are what affects the sexual content leaning. The path to certain perks certainly affect this, I won't disagree, but what affects that path are the scenes involved in it.

What's everyone's takes on the Voltin gang. The amount of shortstacks in the game has rocketed up, so I guess shortstacks are popular but I guess i'm not the biggest fan of the voltin gang. Their scenes just weren't doing it for me. Temptation maledom doggy's not really been my thing. Kissing's not really something I focus on too much either.
JungleNuts , why'd you like both those posts? I feel like they're saying different things.

You don't fight every monster...IIRC, every female monster has a femdom scene for when they beat you.
Does every monster have a maledom scene for when you beat them?
I see what you mean about the text-to-textbox ratio. It can be intimidating to be presented with a big block of text, to say nothing of one big block of text after the other, even if it ultimately doesn't affect the final amount of said text. I try to keep that in mind, even though it's always tempting to add juuuust one more zesty detail to a description, which can end up filling up the textbox. To be very honest, I was a little bit overwhelmed with how much text the game gives you to read, especially at the start. I see what people mean about Perks. It's true that there are not as many Perks that one could interpret as maledom-oriented compared to others that are more femdom-oriented... But then again, that's in the spirit of the game: MGD is also a game that's a lot about temptation and corruption... Though "corruption" here is to be taken quite lightly. It's more the idea of how much you go: "Screw serious adventuring, sex with monster girls to the max!!!"I would say it's because the perks deepen the experience. Like yeah you won 1/10/100 times against the same enemy and got a saucier maledom scene, cool. This is definitely just a preference thing, The Livewire Voltlins are my favorite addition to the capital so far, despite seeming super casual they're in control of basically every scene you can get with them outside of the victory scene, so they're amazing for a femdom aspect. I hope that trend continues when their dedicated area comes up.What's everyone's takes on the Voltin gang. Bro that's so untrue they literally have reversals built into their combat events... There are multiple ways to overwhelm them and put them on the backfoot, and that's not even speaking about the shopkeeper's scenes, and the special scene you get for wearing their gear before talking to them. This is definitely just a preference thing, The Livewire Voltlins are my favorite addition to the capital so far, despite seeming super casual they're in control of basically every scene you can get with them outside of victory scenes, so they're amazing for a femdom aspect. Not necessarily, perks also represent what the MC has developed a liking to/proficiency in. So there can absolutely be specifically maledom perks, for example, you could definetely add some pain/bondage Shizu perk instead of a generic sadist one and it won't look out of placeThose perks represent changes imposed on your character by one of the monster girls, so obviously they are for the femdom content. The reverse would be changes that the MC makes to a girl, which would not be a perk that the MC has, it would be a perk that the girl has
