Unfortunate that this game died, this is the very first game that got me hooked on monster girls
So if that scammer Redamz already gave up on his project and the game is dead, then I'm guessing that there will be no problem, if the people take the character models from the MGI game and use them for something like MMD videos, right? I have no interest wait another years for shitty VN that is seperated into 3 parts and has no sex scene in it.

Well, there's a very known spanish saying that clearly depicts this situation: Redamz is like "el perro del hortelano, que no come ni deja comer al amo" (the gardener's dog, who doesn't eat nor lets his master eat).
Which, getting more specific, means he doesn't develop his game and won't let anyone else do it neither.

don't worry guys, Redamz continues to work on MGI and will post updates soon.

...which of course will mean any affected progess he may have had made beforehand would need to be scrapped and redone

I still think it's a weird move to go almost entirely SFW VN from here out, but the reasoning that was given is especially strange.

So once somebody has read all of the prequel VNs, are they hit with a big text box along the lines of "Yar there be titties beyond this point, you've been warned."? If it was just SFW VNs for the sake of being world-building/saving dev time by not making H-scenes that'd be whatever, but it's that 'available to a wider audience' part that has me confused. Why try to attract a wider audience to your project with SFW materials when the meat and potatoes of the project is NSFW?
It's like those videos on Pornhub where the guy cleans the casting couch and other 'wholesome' stuff. Technically SFW, technically safely available to a wider audience, but nobody is going to PH for just those videos, you know?
I dunno, whole thing has me like:

I was just thinking, "Yay, 'nother SFW game, let's play it from start to end", and when MGI comes, "Wait, this is NSFW! I'm even more puritan than Flanders, I'm bailing out of this game!!"

The way I look at it, the light at the end of the tunnel is learning to move on past this game. Hopefully other developers can actually make and complete something similar, and learn what not to do from this as well.

To be a bit harsh, you're coping pretty hard if you think anything else is coming out at all, and believe me I wanted this to be done too, and supported at one point too for a couple of months, way back at the beginning.

Well..Other developers ... There is a fairly full graveyard of MGI-like games here, rest stuck in dev hell. The situation is not good.

Red must be something extra again. The whole thing is really bizarre. Maybe it would make more sense if he made it completely SFW, or a compromise solution - all SFW + "absolutely optional unnecessary NSFW patch".
But jump from E rating to 18+. The world has probably never seen this.
And never-ever-never DM him. Or he will never release the game.
I hope he finds a way to put some microtransactions to his new SFW games, he's so hard working

man why can't he just continue the story as the way he started with it? the plot has a good setting of the mystery past of the MC, a growing conflict between the monster girls and humans, and generally the small stories of the monster girls you meet and then fuck.
oh well, I will silently cry myself to sleep hoping this will come to light someday.

Yeah, jerking himself off to Genshin Impact waifus consumes a lot of energy. He definitely deserves more than what he's currently being paid for.
