It took him 3 years to admit that he abandoned MGI Prologue as a project. He only uploaded his announcements once or twice per year for the past 2 years or so and then in January he went on to post on his discord announcements after coming out of his dungeon to say the project was "canceled" and that he's been working on multiple games and shows a timeline without any actual proof that he's working on anything.
So much ambition from a developer, if he would have continuously worked on the game monthly instead of saying he "was" working on it for the last 2 years the game would have been done. Instead, he comes out of the blue and was like "yeah its canceled" and proceeds to upload screenshots of his makeshift plan on how he's planning to make the game into different ones in different engines. "New projects" which is funny because if he's long abandoned MGI to make new games, then why doesn't he provide any proof like a screenshot that he's making any new games at the moment? No one knows if he was actually working on MGI this entire time since it was speculated to be abandoned until it was confirmed by Red himself in January of this year. On the same announcement post, he said that MGI Prologue was taking too long during development and he scrapped it and cut his losses. On the screenshot it shows one game called called "Love; Again Memories", and the other is MGI Saga. He's said that he's making "good progress" on MGI Saga but that brings up the question...
Why did he wait until now to reveal this information?
Let's say hypothetically he did abandon the game WAY back then and that he's been working on the other projects till now, why hasn't he bothered to upload any proof of at least one of these "projects" he's making so that people don't believe he's been lying and is STILL lying about doing anything for that matter. If you are telling me he spent all this time to only just came back to announce he was making new projects leads to the following prediction:
He's spent all the patreon money by now, and has been lying through his ass during the entire time just enough to convince people on his discord who still follow him that development is still happening. Which is why he came back out of the blue to announce new projects now. The reality is he probably has been so lazy these past couple years (which explains his lack of announcements or participation in his own discord, probably playing genshin or some shit and probably not even working on these new "games" till now) that he only just recently started "working" on these new projects and hasn't actually been working on them for years like people believe.
I've longed for Red to pull his shit together, the franchise had so much potential with how good the game. But, I'm tired of waiting all these years only for him to conveniently come out of the blue and do this shit. If he actually picked up more developers for these "new projects" instead of doing everything alone like always then he might give people benefit of the doubt that he's actually cooking up at least ONE game to be finished. His laziness and work ethic is so shit that I highly doubt that will be the case. If he abandoned one game, what's to say that he won't do the same for other games? He's been blue balling his fans for years just to finally give a sliver of hope that the franchise isn't dead.

i honestly think he abandoned the game way too long ago and only had been posting content he made before abandoning it (who knows, maybe V 44.3 as a whole was just part of it)

Normally I don't read posts as long as yours, but the fact that you registered today and gathered 6 reactions (now 7) with just your first post got my full attention. Casuals are just finding out for some reason. It may be the thread getting updated for the first time in years because one of the joke games gets rediscovered and added to the OP or the announcement Red made recently that MGI is infact abandoned and he plans to release a bunch of retarded low effort VN games with no hentai or whatever I don't even care anymore tbh.

Not only that but as someone who was interested in the story quite a lot because it adds flavor to the scenes I think it's dumb for him to seemingly ruin some of the mystery of Ai and Shuri and perhaps the player character by instead of letting us find out through flashbacks or the main story just making prequels instead. It's so fucking odd.
Also one of the main draws for me is that the game is 3D which sets it apart from a lot of other games but having these prequels just be 2D VNs means it just falls in line with everything else. Tragic. All he had to do was actually hire other developers instead of one manning it. I just KNEW that when he said he was focused almost entirely on the story and had animated zero sex scenes that he was going to pull something like this where he only works on the SFW stuff.
"Redamz says that the next game won't have sex scenes because he wants the game to release on consoles" I mean this is just an outright lie right? The REAL reason it won't have sex scenes is because he hates making sex scenes and doesn't want to do it. He seems to think that if he waits long enough some sort of passion for making NSFW content will come back but in reality it's never coming back. Sounds like he's just stringing along people with a sliver of hope that he will make more sex scenes.
"Making sex scenes sucks" I like the story and find it interesting but does he not realise that's a large reason why anyone ever subscribed to him? He would not have gotten as popular as he did if his game was just SFW. It's like starting a kickstarter and getting funds to make a video game but then like 3 years in he realises he prefers board games and then uses the money to make that instead. He used Patreon's incest clause as an excuse to quit patreon when he could have pretty easily just added an incest patch and now he's using "console port" as an excuse to not make sex scenes. Why doesn't he just go full mask off? Is it because it might put him in legal trouble for him to admit that he's just not making the product anymore and hasn't been for like 5-7 years?

I thought that was Dark Cookie. Has it been just as long since he released substantial content for SummerTime Saga while still raking it in? I'd call Redemz the prince, not the king.
But seriously, are there any other polygonal games(meaning character are actually rendered rather than 3DCG spirtes) with this degree of detail in the adult scenes? That was really the only reason I had interest in this game. I've never seen a game that put this much effort into stuff like actually animating the orifices stretching out proportionally when being penetrated. I haven't been able to find any others. Only game with cooked CG.
Not to mention most "monster girl" games have what I call "cosplayers" where almost the entire cast is "animal ears + tail". MGI actually had more monsterous monster girls which also set it apart from other games with girls that can be barely categorised as "monster".
I hadn't heard about the console thing. Idk if his ego just got so big he can't see the reality of his situation or what, but he's been at it for around 8 years and his claim to fame is a game he canceled. I get the meme of unfinished AAA games getting released, but come on.

If there were similar games, this thread is dead and the name "Redamz" is deleted from the internet.
Unfortunately, we still meet here and think about old times, about an unfinished game with great potential, or we enjoy more and more lies from Red.
Perhaps the only HQ 3D MG "still alive" project with really good scenes and nice characters is Monster Girl Project. Dev puts quite a lot of effort into it. If I'm going to think about MGI-like gameplay, you can try something from this "dead" list (well..MGR is still alive, but..).
