Tannin00
excuse me i've noticed in one of your posts where you have the skills all translated, i tried in almost every way to translate those skills from a different version of the game and other ways, if you could say how you managed to translate them then i would be grateful (remembering skills is a slog)
Well, to tell you the truth, I don't even know how it happened. All I did was transfer the save of my game in the demo (which is a save from 2.41) and when I started the game shared by the pix link (and I transferred the demo image folder to him) it simply showed me the entire interface in English at the beginning, but when I started playing the game everything started to revert to Japanese. The only thing that remained in English were the names of the characters I already had (which are all the ones from the demo).
In fact, I think Arzo is already working on having a ready-to-use interface, since the translation .exe on his github is made in a way that makes it easier to apply patches to upcoming versions, but of course... the key point of that .exe is that it requires all new files to be included in its action sheet so that it doesn't flag an error, which isn't easy and therefore takes time, even if it's just so the interface is in English, so at least don't expect a preview until the beginning of next year if we're lucky, since the amount of information in the final part is huge and that's even though there was still a lot of information from the previous parts to be translated yet and therefore there were things that weren't translated yet by the current date.
Or in short, the situation is almost the same as part 3 of the original trilogy but x15, given how huge the game is and that RPG VX isn´t at all the best base for so much work.
God, it's a shame that RPG VX Ace was only 2 years away from being released when Torotoro had plans to make Paradox to close the story. If everything had been in RPG VX Ace, the life of Torotoro and us (especially those who translate) wouldn't be so complicated and we could even talk about a halfway usable translation in just a year and a half, not years.
