Since freebirdfreebird reminded me of robot girls i'm adding My Maid Dream of Electric Sheep and A.I.D.A to the list, i'll also be adding Robolife-Days with Aino and the classic My Dystopian Robot Girlfriend shortly, once I finish the first and catch up on new content on the second.
Fairy fighting is also going to be added to the list, I forgot to add it alongside wolf's dungeon.

Then the US and EU collectively slapped the Japanese game market across the face and overtook them, forcing Japanese companies to scramble and keep up, leading to massively increased efforts for global releases (and not just in gaming, anime and manga has been pushing hard too as foreign markets are quickly overtaking Japanese ones in both too lmao) and increased degree of releases on PC. In fact, Capcom just recently accounced PC was going to be their primary platform moving forward.
It's kind of funny, but eh, that's what you get, I guess. A lot of Japanese gamers are upset the west is now getting so much ferverant attention from Japanese game developers, but the industry has just grown waaaaay beyond when it basically used to be as Japanese as anime and manga with all the big players being Japanese companies and studios.
So it's always weird to see Japanese developers stubbornly still like that. Shows they're way out of touch. In fact, Kagura is incredibly successful exactly because what he's saying is wrong and they were smart to realize it as they have basically no comptetition.
This is the exact mentality that prevented a ton of Japanese developers (we're talking major ones, like Square Enix, Capcom) from translating games and/or releasing them on PC once upon a time. Centaurs are very underappreciated, especially in h-games... probably because most people are turned off by horse pussy I would guess.
In my personal experience it is more likely that centaur is going to be a futa, for some reason peaple seem to feel forced to add a dick to the horse, there are some actual girl centaurs but they usually are in games with a named protagonist and I do not play those, however I do remember a game with many centaur images, Adam and Gaia, the original had many monstergirls from other games so by looking at the gallery and reverse searching it would be possible to find the original games, it is an HTML game so it is easy to access the files, it is a pretty good game as well but it is effectively split in half, the monstergirls are hentai style and the humans are real porn, you can decide to avoid them but it is still annoying, there is a fan mod that is effectively a full remake of the game with all hentai art and new content but as far as I remember they removed centaurs from that also it is in ren py.

Ah thanks. I'm bi and a fan of unusual stuff so futa doesn't bother me. I don't know, I just enjoy fantastical situations/encounters as the more vanillia/tame stuff I can just do with my real partners, that's kind of why I play normal games in the first place too, the uniqueness of the experiences offered.
Monster girls in particular have always interested me and I consider MGQ one of the best indie erotic games I've played, though I do prefer them to be like MGQ where there's a good variety, i.e. elves, most succubi, vampires, etc are considered monster girls despite literally just being human women with slightly different features, then there are the "what the actual fuck is that" monsters. MGQ had a centaur scene too, funnily enough.
Interestingly, a lot of classical mythological monsters seem to be missing from regular fantasy as a whole and definitely here in the erotic space for some reason, though I think you're right in that it's probably because it crosses pretty hard into the bestiality/furry fetish territory which is definitely more niche. I'm pretty far down the spiral and firmly believe in the inarguable seperation of fantasy/reality, so I'm pretty much interested in anything unusual, lol.
I mean, the sphinx in Shrifted was my favorite character in that game, lol.

If you don't mind futa, there is always Sex and fantasy - Village of centaurs, you can play both as female MC or male MC.
I haven't played the game in a hot minute, I played a very early release a couple of years back and remember it being okay. Icarus actually reminded me of it recently.
If you like MGQ you'll probably like MGD, not as much variety (yet, but I don't think that will change too much in terms of more monstrous stuff) but I heavily enjoyed both.

Also, I've been pretty busy and wasn't in the mood for h-games for a while, so I didn't update the thread for a bit.
I'll try to update it soon, but next week i'll be pretty busy as well, so i'll probably do a big update after Christmas.

Thanks for the recommendations. I've played Village of Centaurs a little while ago. You're right that it's pretty meh as a game, but man does the author have a really interesting take on centaurs and the worldbuilding. I actually liked it a good deal based on that alone, but from what I remember there wasn't much content and most of the non-centaur stuff (like the water slime/elemental) was really meh.
I think it was this thread actually that led me to MGD (how did I know about it before?!), I haven't gotten far just dipped my toes, and while it seems good so far, I can't really understand why people compare it to MGQ. The erotic CGs seems to be especially limited while MGQ had erotic CG of some kind for just about every monster. As for the game itself, I definitely don't get MGQ vibes from it at all either, it's so far a text-based adventure game supported by some artwork, most of which is SFW.
I like text-based games so it's not exactly a problem, and I'm still just at the start, but the monster variety and how they're portrayed hasn't been anything to call home about yet either, though I guess it took MGQ a while to get going too. I keep hearing great things about it and I'm enjoying it so far, so I'll definitely continue, thanks.

I think the parallels are drawn because of the text-based battle fuck type game, it's way softer but they're not exactly that close.
For CGs, I think it's a matter of time until we see more, they're slowly being drip-fed into the game. Don't expect every loss to have one but some characters will, and the slime already does.

Lol at least here in Brazil they aren't, most of the ppl here who watched Monster Musume prefers Centorea over most girls (Rachnera coming after her, but I'm a Papi guy cuz I like Harpies and their fluffy feathers)
But my pet peeve with centaurs is that artists seem to draw them stupidly overproportionately, with HUGE ass boobs so big that it turns the horniness into stupidity, and, most of the times, a goddamn ugly, bulging, black pussy that looks more like a turd that got stuck on the poor girls vagina.
And also the whole "knight girl/onnakishi" trope is a turnoff to me, which people really like to throw at centaurs
But when they are drawn decently they are as good as all other girls, like 2 doujins that i rly like "-UMA Umasashi-" and another one with the deers on a park turning into centaurs, those are rly good ones.

Seeing as it isn't here and it really fits the thread, I would like to share Inn Another World. It's has 2D Drawn CGs just like the other ones here, it has everything from Monster Girls & Non-human girls(Elf, Gnome, & Orc *Dunno if Orc should be defined as a non-human or monster girl*). Atm, it's one of the few games I know that has a Centaur that isn't a futa. There is an avoidable futa though which is another character. The game only started last January 2022 so not a lot of content yet, but it's still a decent amount.
Orc Wizard: You might not like the Centaur girl here since she is well, a knight with huge boobs. Buuut there is a Harpy shop keeper so you might like her. You will have to wait though since she doesn't have content yet.
