Up to this point I must admit I am glad that there are no books to read with the quantity of side content already in the game. I liked reading the different quotes the MC read from his books in LoM. I feel like some posts on Titter serve a similar purpose, but with out the MC reflecting on them it has less of an impact and his answers feel verry surface level. I don't know how much dev time or if it would be worth it to implement a dialog box to convey MC's train of toughts depending on how the player decide to different posts.
Concerning the combat mechanic, they currently feel long with some ability only triggering once or twice in a fight. I don't know if some token have different appearance percentage, but it sometimes feel that way. While there is somme strategy I feel there is a lot of room to grow. I also feel like the quantity of fights we are supposed to have in a day is supposed to be less than In LoM so comparing both seams like a moot point for now. I like it in general.
BTW I found a bug: when the animation for suggestion plays out and you execute the move, the animation is getting stuck and the token that is left appear oversized. It is not game breaking, but before I realised it was a bug I thought that a special token had appeard.
Now for something funny, Mu Lau in french read mu-lo witch is an homophone for ''mulot'' witch is a field mouse. So her identifying with a tiger is hilarious. Someone in universe must catch this. Maybe her cousin. I just wonder how her reaction would be. Maybe she got made fun of in her kindergartens years or something.
The game seams to have diverging choices, at least more than LoM so I wonder if it is in the plans to have a new game + mode. And if so, if it is possible in that mode to gray out interactions already taken in the previous playthrough. Or at least change the color of interaction already taken. For example:
The day before the match you can talk to the different characters, they all have the interrogation mark beside their name, but you don't have the time to talk to each of them. I wonder if it would be possible to mark conversation or choices already had in NG+ as I will want a different experience for subsequent playthrough.
All in all, the game is off to a great start. Can't wait for chapter II (but it can definitely wait till the end of LoM)
