How about you try this.
Find a Renpy game that does still work. Make a full copy of it (all directories). Then remove all the contents from the 'game' directory.
Now copy all of the contents from the new Motherless 'game' directory' into that now empty 'game' folder/directory.
Try to start the game now, using the new copy.
ps: It does work...

Omg bro thank you for this. I had no idea this was a thing. Now i can get back to playing this game and i really appreciate this because for a lot of games nowadays you need good ass computer. Now with this i can play the games that i couldn't able to play it because of new renpy version. Again thank you so much. (I used The Fosters game btw)
