The mother's main problem is the jawline. It's a lot broader and deeper than what we expect from a woman, so it looks a little mannish. I kinda think it's a little wider than what most men would have too, though. She'd probably be fine if the dev just trimmed the curves a bit (so to speak, I don't know rendering).

The daughter looks a lot better, just has a bit of boob-socking and no pupils in the seventh screenshot.
