I had the same problem I was using a cheat mod. I extracted the game again without cheats and lesson 3 appeared. The old save where I cheated also worked

Not really a bug but if you ever win 2,000 or more it will label you as a cheater and even some save files from before you hit that $2,000 mark will be labeled as such. My guess is if you ever hit 2000 he saves a file somewhere that stops all gambling. So it's not a bug just programmed that way.
He should just remove the gambling completely and offer more money through story line gameplay. Either more money options or more money for the current options you already have.
Edit the game/_script/minigames/CardCombatDuel/enemies.ini file and set
base_hp = 1
per_level_hp = 1
for every enemy. That will make combat easier.

Does the talking dick still persist or the Dev has reduced/removed it?
Do I have to put up with the talking dick throughout the gameplay or only the initial period.
I tried it once and because of the talking dick I stopped playing. It's really weird to see eyes, mouth, teeth on your dick. It's on monster territory and I'm not fan of that genre.
