Yeah, 0.7.0 has that error, 0.7.1 has only the new game error.

If any of the dev's patreon supperters are in here. Please make it clear to the dev that you at least want the game to be able to be patched easily. If someone has to change the whole dialog to give the taboo feel that people want then no one will probably do it.

You guessed that right... new game needed... unfortunately.
I can suggest this to him, but not sure this will happen. But who knows, worth a try.
search for Unren and download it. Put it in the folder where the game exe file is and run Unren. This allows you to open the console. Press shift + O (the letter) to open console. Type stuff like money = 9999 or strength = 20. Basically type the stats that you want.
