Absolutely bugged beyond belief with director red folder. I looked through all historic messages regarding this issue and downloaded all relevant updates.rpy files (which are dispersed everywhere in this forum).

Didn't fix it... jesus christ, this is frustrating. Fixing bugs have became more of a treasure hunt than this game.

Goto Barbara's house to have Derek look for the folder. Use the massage oil on Barbara

I don't have a save; it happens the second I click 'Start' to try the game.
I've used the "135957_update.rpy" to no effect, and then I tried the "135992_update.rpyc" and that straight up made the game refuse to even launch.

Perhaps I'm just being dense, but I'm legitimately lost as to how to correct the errors.

When you download something from here remove the number at the beginning 135992_update.rpyc.
update.rpyc this is the patch and yes overwrite when asked for.
... and remove 135957_update.rpy(c) 135992_update.rpyc from game folder ... better
