Try moving the mouse to the left of the screen near the edge, a little more than halfway down. The inventory of items should appear. Click the book and it should say something like "I have a gift for you". If the item isn't designed for that person it will tell you.

After playing through a few times, I must say, this was a great game. Unfortunately, it feels like it was abruptly stopped. I was half expecting there to be more material surrounding the dorms, library and Dean. Screwing the college girl once in the dorms just wasn't enough...The nurse also made a statement at the start about coming back after you were cured to try things again, which didn't appear. Never-the-less, it was still a great game. I didn't like the fake ending though... I didn't figure out the ending wasn't the ending until I watched a YouTube video to see if there were things I missed. The chocolate was one, and the ending was the other...
I thought the renders and animations were stellar. Should the devs ever read this, AWESOME JOB! Thank you!

If you spend some time reading through the Walkthrough in the Extras section on the Opening Page, all the information is there. I'd suggest start about page 4 and read all the actions you need to perform for the characters first (beginning around page 4). The first 2 or 3 pages are good for activities later on.

Have you received the message from the doctor to just sack up and fuck the girl, even if she says no? That comes when you have like 6 or 7 already tallied. That is intended to get the librarian. Once you get the librarian, follow the steps to get her mother. Then you'll need to get the Secretary at your roommates office, followed by the boss. You should also be able to do the boss' daughter at her home (after you do the 3some librarian and boss' daughter in the library). If you follow the walkthrough, it explains all the little things... like getting the sex lotion. That's needed to get the gym trainer and the boss' daughter at her home. Your roommates friend that does the photo shoots is had when you do the dual photoshoot. The others are your roommate (who you work on constantly) and the Nurse (who is basically given to you as a freebie first). Once you reach the 8 count, the doctor becomes available, gives you the clearance and then you can enroll, as well as do the shopkeeper (there's a little red icon on the screen just as you're going down on her - click it - then you'll just do her). If you're using a cheat code, or mod, it might have a glitch. I'd suggest downloading the walkthrough on the OP and looking through it. It might point out something you've missed that's needed to give you the points.
There's also one after you register for college and visit the dorms (go in the morning). I still feel that scene and the subsequent library scene left the door open for more content to be added at a later date (crosses fingers).
