Been stuck on Ep-8 for two months,
Kept getting soft-locked in the early stages but will only find out near the end when I had 92/102.
Resorted to using a walkthrough and managed to avoid some? soft-locks,
Even following the walkthrough some events will not trigger (Bob's Rm 09:00)
and strangely I encountered a bug that was not there in earlier versions? (Bob's Rm 18:00)
(I am using Ep-10)
For a Sandbox game (in Ep-8) the requirements are very linear (with little to prevent soft-locks)
and with my playstyle I find that we are now ill suited ,
Therefore sadly it is time for me to find another game to support,

I've only had a couple of issues getting completely through each level, and each was resolved after asking about them. I'm kind of shocked you're giving up on this considering the amount of time/work you must put into Jen's Dilemma, a game I've given up on due to the extreme grind with no help whatsoever on what to do.

now to your claims:
making new upload to every subscriber is a lot of work, but that is what we know is happening. Putting one or more identificators in the code itself is so much easier and faster to do. Why not if they already are going trough the uploading?
If someone who pays 5usd or 1 or whatewer is willing to scan trough it all and then repack and upload it all by himself, great I am thankfull. It just isnt much likely.
And then they can just make one more identificator, or name it differently and you can scan that manualy to be sure again.
Mate just drop it. Play something else in the meantime.

No less than 1.250 new full rendered images and 23 new animations are added to this update.
Release dates:
Diamond, Platinum and Gold members: ...Friday May 10th (estimated)
Master members: ... May 22nd
Silver members: ... May 27th
Bronze members: ... May 30th
Supporters: ...June 7th
Public: ... July 26th

i agree on most of it with you. walk the talk. Lower your expectation is, lesser the disappointment is. I ain't gonna die cuz he did as other developers. His loss when game start leaking all over again due his "milking" test. As someone wrote in the posts above: get the game, unpack it, pack it again with different program, put on personal mega drive, share the link, done deal.
