I think and I imagine an scenario where hutch and Vivian remain together but he would know that she would still cheat on him and she will know that she can't not stop and they would live like nothing would ever happen. As example

Did another go at the backyard and bedroom scene to see if i could spot any clues since Dev said his whole story started 1st at backyard and bedroom scene and then he created the ending. I noticed this little frame although it may seem like it's just him heading back to the living room could it also mean he was starting at the knife on the counter? IDK about Christian, but i think for both spouses, the end will be bitter. Even if Hutch gets some consolation, realistically, what he has been through will take a big toll on him. For Vivian, like i said before, it wouldn't make sense if she goes scott free from the events. I try not to take a moral stance and saying she will have to pay, but it wouldn't make sense if she didn't face consequences for her actions. I imagine something like this :

Ch 2 : After the shock of the last events, she will connect with Christian. He will give her pleasures she hadn't experienced and corrupt her. She will get accustomed to these experiences and maybe think she can keep all elements of her life together. ( Flashback of the first night). Maybe still expressing some form of guilt. Hutch suffers in silence and may need someone to express his feelings. Someone who is some form of light in the shark tank which is his job.

Ch 3 : She's getting way too comfortable with the arrangement. She is progressively more dissmissive of her husband's feelings and doesnt hesitate to fuck Chrisitian during a work related event. After the deed, they are introduced to new people (the mayor ?) who may have understood what was going on. Chrsitian sends her a dress and an address. She's used by someone (still the mayor ?). The guy doesn't care about her husband and uses her all night. She is lifted the morning by someone she knows (Marcel ?). Meanwhile Hutch is fed up by his wife, tries everything to find comfort, confides more and more to Addison and she confesses he attracts her. He doesnt know what do with it. The morning Vivian comes back, she begs him to stop "the project" and to start their old life again. The fool still loves her wife and says yes.

Ch 4 : People talk. Marcel uses what he knows this to his advantage. He brags about it to someone of his family, the mechanic, who blackmails her , he will make sure the whole town knows. Vivian gets insane pleasure even if it destroys her self esteem. The rumour spreads between the youth of her town and here come the twins. Fuck us or we tell Sawyer. Sawyer stumbles upon them and Sawyer says 'You're not my mother anymore. Don't contact me. Sawyer goes to his father (i hope he won't find Addison and his father fucking). That was the last straw for Hutch. She comes back to find in front of her house her things packed and Hutch saying he knows and she will hear from his lawyer. Addison has made sure to transmit to authorities proof that her uncle has coerced many women into having sex and is condemned for this. Will learn to be a bitch, prison is not sweet for sex offenders. Hutch breaks up with Addison saying that from now on he must take care of his son. Moves out. THE END

It seems very logical and could be like that more or less. Will see

I even imagined Hutch doing the impossible and kniving both of them down and what happens after because of his silence throughout day2 at night and just a flicker of sentences the other days, was that he's just dreaming while sitting at the chair in the backyard the things that we see in the game after he caught them in the backyard.

I even imagined Hutch doing the impossible and kniving both of them down and what happens after because of his silence throughout day2 at night and just a flicker of sentences the other days, was that he's just dreaming while sitting at the chair in the backyard the things that we see in the game after he caught them in the backyard.

That would be an absolute deep darkness experience.

Yeah, my fear is this is what's going to happen. Just a massive rug sweep, with both of them still not talking about events and not admitting to anything that has happened even though they both know. A big don't ask - don't tell living arrangement. This would suck donkey ass as an ending.

Is this the post you are referring to? It says here that the ending will definitely be surprising, but nothing about it being overly dark. Maybe It's mentioned in another post?

To address the issue of the 'unseen' seduction of the female lead by the antagonist, it was obviously intentional to leave you wondering what happened. Why could just a devote wife succumb so quickly, so easily? Did he really just threaten his job? Is she just a slut who drops panties for any alpha male? Others are just disappointed they didn't get to see a sexy scene. There is lots of story left and these are addressed in time.

Just a little background, the entire story arc is defined and the whole script is complete save for some polish. I do not like epically long stories with a sudden weak, rushed ending that doesn't do the rest of the game justice. The ending is fantastic in my mind, will make half of you happy, will make half of you pissed off, but will surprise everyone. It's just a matter of about 20k more renders to complete so bear with me.

This is also my second game but I've yet to publish the first (called Standing Guard). It is complete except for one scene I just can't seem to make myself finish. It is much shorter(about 1.5-2hrs total if you actually read the dialog). It's also a romance (no NTR). MHB is more polished because of the learning curve on my first game(it's a lot rougher in every measure). I'll publish it some day.

My ending is a bit darker, I agree that Hutch will top himself, and Christian will provide support to Viv and get her warmed up by fingering both holes under a dress he has provided. Someone mentioned a gangbang and rape tag and these will both happen on Hutch’s grave after the service after the aforementioned warm up. Incoming critique from all is welcome and I know some of you will be shocked that someone could envision this plot end. Cheers btw it is just a theory because there is a render in the game of a male and female at a cemetery with ladies leg raised as if she is kissing the male. I know I have drawn a disturbing scenario but Christian is about control, humiliation and eventually degradation.

You might be right about the 0.4. The 0.2 version was about 5k images, and then in another post he goes all that's needed is another 20k images. So, in the future, he might aim to do 0.2 jumps, and there'll be four more.

But, if that is the case, it means that we could expect to play through 6 days of content each time the game is updated. That that would be great. I love playing through that amount of content.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But, two years for a project is still great. If the schedule is maintained, and there aren't any long breaks from it, or unforseen holdups, I'd love updates to my favorite game like that.

I wouldn't be opposed to seeing 0.1 updates though. But, in terms of what it takes to finish, I wouldn't think 2 years is that bad.

Edit: Oh, and if you take those headings in the game files someone found, there are four of them, so that would coincide for four theme-based updates. But, that's just how it is now. There' s no telling how things might change.

I also have a scenario for a better ending because I do cheer for the underdog - it is Christian's funeral, after all the GB and rape stuff, Viv is kissing Hutch her Saviour and all the jilted husbands gather around Christians' grave and proceed to piss on it.
