I read some of these comments, and it amazes me that people just seem to completely overlook that in the first chapter Vivian was fucking her husband's boss within 10 minutes of being at his house and less than 10m from her husband, if you don't think a woman that would do this (no matter her reasons) is a total slut and unhinged I don't know what to tell you. You have completely misread what kind of person Vivian really is from the very start and are now complaining that you missed these very obvious signs and expected something completely different to happen. Mind boggling.

Interesting that there seems to be some brain left here after all.

The same applies to Hutch, in my eyes. We didn't see much of him in Chapter 2, but what we did see, along with Chapter 1, is that he's closely monitoring how far Vivian will go, so he can hopefully strike mercilessly back when the point comes where he realizes Vivian is a lost cause. I can't and won't believe that he's just a dumb cuckold who lets anyone do anything to him until I see it. But as I said, I think Hutch's character is much deeper than most people realize yet.

The signs of Vivian's "true" nature were there from the start, true, but the NTR was amplified in not knowing which side Vivian would end up choosing - the "inner slut" she has been suppressing for 20+ years; or the beloved suburban wife & mother.

CH2 gave us that answer already, and in a way that noone can dispute her fall anymore. From this point on, it's not NTR when the husband knows, and the wife is ready to jump into bed with anyone that looks at her favorably.

Vivian can't be redeemed, which was the ambiguous question left at the end of CH1 that made us love the story presented. CH2 gave us a conclusive answer to that question, and followed almost all played out tropes to a T.

It's like therapy or something. I had more pity with Vivian throughout this scene, and that is contraproductive regarding being turned on, but that's just me.

That conversation between the two woman was the highlight of this chapter. The other woman gave Vivian the template to have her husband and her desires. Vivian went through all the range of emotions. It was good solid, then when your husband comes home from his trip instead of you implementing what you have learn from someone who obviously knew what they were talking about. You just went the direction they told you don't, which for me makes that conversation a waste. My only hope is she doesn't try to have the conversation after all she has done and said to Christian.
