THE ATRIBUTES - (The anticipation of being caught, Cheating, Jealousy, Spying, Peeping, Lying, Late night texting, and phone call talking, Denying, Secrets Meetings, Teasing, Blackmail, Voyeurism, Regrets, Emotional pain, etc etc.) Most DEVELOPERS add all this attributes in their games as the main foundation of their game STORIES
BUT most most DEVELOPERS they extinguish or kill all the attributes very fast for the sake of SEX SCENES
How they do that I'll tell you.
What they do their story
You see, the main GOAL of any game when it comes to visual novels is the STORY.
So what most DEVELOPERS do...They rush with the story they skip and kill all the important attributes their game contains. Just to reach out and unfold the story fast so they can bring out and present the SEX SCENE.
And they present the SEX SCENE in such a way that actually kill many important attributes in just that one moment...And the more attributes is killed and extinguished on the way of SEX SCENES...The game slowly starts to fade and it becomes less and less interesting due to the lack of attributes that STORY used to have as a primary foundation content.
Let me give you an example:
If Voyeurism is added as one of the attribute in the game STORY. Voyeurism is mostly consider someone who secretly spying on others having sex... it's not entirely BUT mostly. So the Hutch-(Husband) He was actually engaging in Voyeurism activity (story attribute)...The moment you EXPOSE him to others that he is Voyeur who secretly watching someone have sex...in that moment you killed and extinguish the Voyeurism attribute in your game STORY...
The same with Jealousy attribute...IF you suddenly take away Jealousy from the Hutch-(Husband) again you killed and extinguish one more attribute that makes STORY interesting...SO the jealousy should always be kept in check...so that Hutch-(Husband) always stay jealous despite what happening to him or around him...
The same with Cheating...IF the Hutch-(Husband) allowed his Vivian(WIFE) to Cheat with his Christian(BOSS) Then it's NOT Cheating anymore and the YET again you killed and extinguish one more important attribute in your game STORY...
NOW you getting the picture what I'm trying to tell you
The attributes you add to your game are what define the main foundations of the STORY. And if those attributes are Killed or extinguish on the way of rushing for the sake of SEX SCENES...
Then very soon after all your attributes are killed...the STORY itself will fade and be less and less interesting...and due to that many players will lose interest in your game and they will look for another NEW game who will give them all those attributes that will keep their interest when they first start playing the NEW visual novel.
My opinions and thoughts:
DON'T make and don't turn Hutch-(Husband) so fast into open and public Cuckold. That everyone will know about it...Especially his Wife or his Boss.
EVEN if he becomes Cuckold, keep him in the dark in a sense his wife should never know that he is into that HE should always keep that secret and always be Jealous of what his wife is doing with his Boss and HE should always be aware of what his wife is doing BUT he should NEVER tell her that he knows of her SEXUAL encounters with his BOSS or other characters in the future.
Keep the Vivian(WIFE) always denying and Lying to Hutch-(Husband) of what's happening with his Boss and all SEXUAL activities in the future with other characters...So that plot lines can always be presents and the STORY attributes never killed
Because the moment all the plotlines is exposed and every secret is out and all doors are open...then that's it...its over. The moment the STORY is faded due to the lack of killed attributes...Then the CHARACTERS and the SEX SCENES means NOTHING. And due to that most players will leave the game and go look for something NEW to play. What do you think WHY? not all BUT most the DEVELOPERS abandoned their project games...They lack interest from players...They kill the STORY fast because they think the SEX SCENES and Animations are more important.
I wrote this much because I like your game and the character models...You are on your way to make something really GREAT...Just try not to kill the STORY and its attributes fast. Can't wait for the next update to see where the story goes...
