IIRC, the ending(s) indicated a sequel that would take into account whichever ending you got. Think it was a code for each ending that would be entered into a sequel to start with that ending as canon for a sequel.
Honestly, that would be a monumentally huge project to undertake. I'd say more than The Tyrant, purely by virtue of having to tailor the beginning(s) and entire game around the possible outcomes for this game.
Based on that, I don't really see how a sequel could be made.
I agree. It honestly wouldn't be worth the effort. I don't think programming is Saddo's biggest strength anyway. If he did try to make it it would probably take forever and the slow rollout of content would kill him. Even rendering different scenes with or without pregnancies would take forever.
I would like for games to be smaller in scope like this one. Just have it set over a few days or have time skips to allow for plot to happen in a decent in-game time frame. I would like for My Legacy to be more polished, but it manages more than most porn games. It stays engaging the whole time and it doesn't outstay its welcome. A lot of them go on for too long, people lose interest or the creator does and the game gets abandoned or finished poorly. It'd be best for people to have a basic plot outline and to end it reasonably early. If you had a bunch of small quality games I would think you'd be a much safer bet for support. It's true that you'd have to create more models, but at least you and the audience won't grow bored of the same old shit. SL was great for awhile and the models are fantastic, but I got tired of being in that world and when all of the character stuff is done and they're just fucking without anything else going on. The taboo is dead because everyone is fine with it and it gets boring.
I don't mean to rag on SL. I liked that game and it's clear that a lot of hard work went into it. It's just a clear example to me of a game I loved for a while that grew bland. I was less interested in updates as time went on, despite being really into it for a good while. Once the inter-character plots were done I got bored and I got bored of certain characters earlier than that. It didn't help that you couldn't avoid certain characters (such as the youngest sister) if you wanted to progress with the other characters. I think it's interesting to look at how games could be improved and SL and ML are both interesting because of what they got right and wrong.
