This is why you need to save often, so you can retry when you find yourself in a dead end on a quest. I generally have:
- A latest save.
- A morning save each day.
- A quest or sub-quest start save for each NPC.
- A morning save each monday.
Havent played brenda yet but I saw her walkthrough. She seems extra grindy and strange for no reason and I am surprised she is also a virgin. Cant comment for sure yet though. Who was mindy again? Caroline is another mystery tho. You have to romance and date her, she doesnt just put out for free. It takes weeks unless you give her diamonds and shit. I see you haven't done most of the chains as of yet. I will explain them since I have done just about all of them.
Mindy is Aunt Maggie's daughter and your cousin. We learn she is a virgin due to the quest with Brenda where we need the hair of a virgin and for it we get her hair. Brenda from what we saw learned of her being a virgin due to her having trouble getting guys as well as self-esteem issues. As for Caroline we learned she was a virgin when she literally said she had no experience with men and never even kissed one.
But to be honest with the game itself the grind while there if you know were all the easter eggs are is really nonexistent. even without the cheat menu there is a money easter egg in the game that gives you 10,000 dollars everytime you interact with it. So you can stock up on diamonds if needed to give to the girls. Though Ms. Taylor, and Brenda (at least until you unlock the kiss for the former) you can't give gifts to so for these two the grind is there.
However With Caroline if anything with her it is more about entering the world of dating and sex with someone she trusts and not a 100% emotional thing plus as many of us know Carol is an undercover freak. with the way she was messing with the main male during the her chain (assuming Carol saw you fucking Rachel before going to her home the first time) if the main male didn't get exhausted I am willing to bet she would have gone all the way right there and then even before the dating. (guess BON was going with it was the quiet ones who are the most freaky with Caroline)
As for Brenda and Mindy the former had self-esteem issues (which was why she went out of her way to ask for his help to get the stuff for the spell) which the main male despite his thoughts not being pure helped her with and Mindy she was the type who seemed like she just wanted to have fun and like Sarah knew it would be hard (though not as hard as a sister and a brother) to have a commited relationship thought at the same time that wasn't her goal.
As for Sarah a clean break really?
1) It was Shasha (once again for her own reasons) who originally convinced her this was the right thing to do.
2) Even if #1 wasn't the case and it was all Sarah who wanted a clean break answer me this why did she stop Shasha and the main character? She could have very well focused on her date and had fun with him but no she went off like a jealous bitch due to feeling like she had her man stolen from her.
But with all this my original points still stand. She was in the committed relationship with Roger (even if he was a complete asshole) and her brother despite being a rabbit in heat or a screwworm fly wasn't.
As for the Rachel line as I told someone else that was just a joke I as thinking about.

And yeah, this isn't a visual novel. It's porn. I can't put the same stock in it that I do others because these "real facts" don't apply since something like what the game presents will never happen. I just enjoy it. I don't think hard about it. And yeah, don't need that Persona 3 mechanic like I said before.
