Haven't played this version (will wait for extra or modded version) but for those that can't get the key and want to bypass with save edit this should work.

Put Copy of my room key (item 52 in inv)
Turn on switch 198 (no leave mom)

That lets me leave room at night in version 1.7 so it should probably work in 1.8

Would you mind telling me how you extracted all this? I know it's been talked about before but I can't remember where to look.

I just decrypted it using the RPG Maker MV decryption java protocols, and command line.
