So I've been spending the last few days after playing the game reflecting on it and my personal feelings towards all the changes, and I am mixed. Some of the upgrades are nice, as well as reworking a few origins, while also giving other characters more story (like Rachel now having a more prominent role, Beth being more than just a characters girlfriend, your sister not just outright liking you, etc). Other things though, I'm not happy with, especially with how much content was taken away, especially with how close the original game was to being completed. I'm also a bit on the fence with how this feels less open and more like we're on a rail system now. I just hope that a lot of the old content is returned (minus the grind) since a lot of it was great.

i kinda agree, and even while i'm an hater of this revamp...it's still an alpha-revamp ver0.001...it should be a concept, it should be unplayable...there is a lot of work to do...for now we shouldn't say nothing...but for the sake of possible upgrades/bugfixes we're allowed to say everything we think

Honestly, I feel Beggar should have kept the original game and just fixed the code, that way he doesn't have to basically remake an entire game, especially when he was planning on releasing a sequel. I think that's the main problem here is that he decided to basically release a new game entirely instead of just fixing the one he has that people are happy with. But hey, maybe Beggar won't take as long returning a lot of older content to this game since he already has an outline for the content thanks to the original game (and hopefully we'll get more content with Beth, who was really under utilized).

Patreons voted for a revamp...he was unsure if making just a bunch of releases full of bugfixes or a full revamp of the game...patreons voted for the revamp(sorry for repeating stuff)

Weird, I thought the vote was just to fix the code itself and not revamp the game. Oh well, we still have the old game here, which I'll go back and play from time to time.

I was expecting that revamp wayyy sooner.. the grind was insane. I hope he's efficient with it and we can get access to the content with an ideal gameplay asap.

For those of you having trouble with the Laura mission in finding her in your room do it on a weekday, but try 10:30. I got it on the first try while doing this.

But on another note like many others my feelings are of that of a mixed bag. On the one hand I am happy that certain characters have gotten character development and are more complex than they were in the original.

Rachel and Beth for example are two of these characters.

On the other hand I am not liking how this game went from being a large and complex game that gave you many choices to a linear, game that put on a massive set of training wheels.

While this isn't the final product so far however the cons are beating the pro's in my eyes.

Odd issue.

The hint is telling me to Talk to Sarah in Her Room in the Afternoon.

Yet, she is not interact-able. No "!" over her, no talking, whatever.

I have had the step where you rub her ass (I think its card 4? 5?)

Sorry if this was answered in a previous post, but did BoN add the ability to remove text from scenes? I am getting no replies on the patreon page. I tried several keys on the keyboard and the mouse functions to no prevail. Did I miss something?

First of all, it wasn't "open" at all, you still had to follow the walkthrough word by word to get anywhere, mate and damn it, it was frustrating as hell if you didn't have an eternity to spend on an adult game. As for the content, is this revamp about trashing all the content and start from 0? highly doubt it. my guess is the majority of the content will be back and maybe he'll even improve a few of them. I don't see any reason why this revamp idea gets so much suspicion or hate here. the grind was turning a lot of people off.

and yet we must be the delivery boy for Jet 10 times(for getting all the sex-lessons), Delivery boy for Sarah/Nesrot/Tinymon-Cards 15 times...talk about grind...
