My understanding of it was that she wanted to get to know that side of her family better, and also Japanese culture better. She likely felt that a week or two vacation wasn't going to be enough to accomplish truly knowing that side of her family, and the culture. Which is fair, if you haven't spent significant time with someone, a week or two doesn't really get you much closer.

The stories are not currently connected beyond an "easter egg" or two. MNF2 will be the sequel when K7 starts working on it.

Lol. Its all good to be a "noob" here. No, this is not a direct sequel to MNF. Its a while seperate story by the same dev. Some similar concepts, maybe, but a brand new story.
MNF (1) isn't complete yet. Lets let K7 finish that before we start screaming for an MNF2

I have to admit, I didn't really know what to do this year, so I decided to just keep it more relaxed. Lena, Anna and Sabrina in bunny costumes posing in front of the pool and the three gingers Sandra, Lucy and Alice on the easter egg hunt. Looks like Lucy found them so Alice and Sandy rush to her to get some as well!
I decided to not do any weird and fancy texts this time, so if you want to use them as a wallpaper or anything, it should be easier! Happy easter to everyone celebrating and if you aren't, then happy holidays!

Hello there you very wholesome people out in the world!
Another week, another progress update!
Not that much to say regarding MNF, it's basically the same as last week. Full focus on My New Memories, I guess. Still, I fleshed out a few more things and put some notes in.
Speaking of My New Memories, I spend most of the last week with making renders. I'm basically caught up to the writing now and I'm still planning to release the first beta this weekend. No promises though, things can change, but I'm confident that it will work out. Nonetheless, the first beta will 100% be available in april. I plan to add some extra stuff to the first day, especially in the night event with Anna, which will lead to some very interesting things in the future. Todays render is Sabrina, waiting for the MC in front of her apartment, and she is actually surprised that he is a little late ( spoiler: no cars available, he had to take a taxi ). I know that I initially planned to make it optional for all characters if you want to tell them about Anna. But in the case of Sabrina ( and the daughters ) I decided against it. So the options will only be there for Bethany and Lena. I think if you see it story wise it would make more sense to tell Sabrina anyway, since they spend almost each day together and she is as close to Anna as the MC. In the case of the daughters...Well, making a route where you keep something like this as a secret of them would lead me to a MC that I don't want in a game - someone that doesn't want to share things with his family. I hope that is a decision that you guys can somewhat understand. I think story wise it would not have made sense to hide it from them anyway - They would learn about it as soon as they visit her in the hospital. Still, there is some more tension coming up in this update, even without the situation Anna is in. There is still the thing with who is trying to hurt the MC...And that story will get a lot more development in Chapter II!
And I think thats it for now. My render pc is basically rendering 24/7, which is a huge help when it comes to My New Memories. I'm really enjoying the switching between writing and making renders, since it keeps everything kinda balanced. Anyway, if something comes up I'll tell you guys right away. Stay awesome!
I imagine that Sabrina would have 'Twin' felt something from the shock the MC feels when he gets the news so while she may not know exactly whats up I can't imagine her not trying to find out what's up

Not going to spoil that much but you are getting pretty close there. The MC himself will think that it doesn't make much sense to hide something this important from her when she basically is in a relationship with Anna as well ( and even if you decided to not continue your relationship with Sabrina, there is still the closeness you and her have ).I imagine that Sabrina would have 'Twin' felt something from the shock the MC feels when he gets the news so while she may not know exactly whats up I can't imagine her not trying to find out what's up

Regarding Sabrina: KnightOwl says something that also occurred to me. It's impossible that John can hide this from his twin sister.
Otherwise: Isn't there currently somewhere between November and December within MNM? I have to say respect. I get cold feet just thinking about people wearing bellyless sweaters at that time of year.
And not hiding the matter from his children makes sense, too: his youngest suspected early on who Yuki's father must be. I could even imagine that Olivia, with her deductive talent, will eventually follow in her sister Sarah's footsteps.

I mean I think I understand. It sometimes feels like players' desire for choices in every aspect of a game can go a bit overboard. It can lead to a lot of variables and fractured pathing that might be hard for a dev to keep up with. And, like this, can lead to a personality shift that a dev doesn't find suitable for their characters.
