damn my eyes hurts reading the text, white text doesn't go well with bright background. Are there any workarounds to make the text more readable?

Since the game doesn't seem to have any mods that allow you to play with this stuff (Sancho usually has this in his), if you hit "a" on your keyboard, you'll get this screen:

You can play with the sizing, spacing and text style to see if you can get something that works better for you.

Alternatively, there's something called the "URM" tool that allows you to make certain changes in the RenPy settings and other things. Just search titles for those three letters and it should take you to a thread for it.

I haven't used it for that purpose, and you can screw things up if you play around too much, but it's a tool and it might be able to help you. I'd just save off a copy on an external before playing with things like text code/color, etc. and experiment there.

There's also a "universal mod" out there that allows you to install the ability to play with text box opacity (don't remember name - just search "text box mod" and you'll probably find it). That could also help with your problem since I don't recall the ability to change it on the settings page. It's also something you can likely mess with in URM.

Thanks for tip! I actually found a way to change the color of the dialogue in the gui.rpy located in the games folder. Just change the hex color code of define gui.text_color = '#ffffff' to any color you want.

yea did that on 1 game where default size is so small that 2 lines of text was 2 cm tall.
