I understand your frustration.
That's real life though isn't it. Say the right thing to the right girl (Dev), the right way and you might get laid. That's an impactful decision. It all depends on the gate keeper being the girl or the Dev.
In the end all I am saying is you can't have it both ways. If you want to see all content then you get a VN plain envelope. If I was a developer I'd never do a game with choices because 1/2 the audience will bitch about not seeing the content and quit the game. Doing decisions is a butt load more work on the Dev, a butt load. A dev is better off giving no choices, its less work and you still keep 50% of the fan base who only care about seeing all content but pretend to care about decisions.
So tired of SOME people (not saying you, this isn't personal or anything) demanding choice but complaining about missing content. The Dev can't do both.

I agree some people can be pretty incoherent about what they want. In this case I just wish devs would learn how to properly plan, implement, and manage choice in their games.
Being a Dik, Good Girl Gone Wild, and Heavy Five all did a good job offering different paths with their own content depending on the players choice. Some choices lock you out of entire routes. But that's okay because you get to see what happens on the route you are on. They aren't designed to have the player take the "correct" route or get nothing.

I simply play along and get the story forward, then if i want things perfectly i look at walkthrough. First time around you learn the story, second you get a lil more but get extra scenes if you miss them. I've gone a bunch of playthrough of this game that i know lori uses that carrot for....

Having choices in a visual novel is fine, but you don't have to have 50 choices that make no sense and give you random points.

What is the point of winning or losing points if only "God" saw this number 8 choice?
If Babs sees choice 8, it's game over. The game over, i understand.
If you look at the WT, you will see many choices with scores that make no sense.

Put Lori's lust at 3 (and don't pick any choices to increase/decrease it)
The code for Lori's lust check is == 3, meaning that it will only pass if it's 3, instead of the more lenient >= 3 which would pass for anything 3 or greater.
I can't recall any other == in the code, but there may have been one more.

Lost all interest in this game after the last update as it seems that to have any content with Lori, Barbara is going to have to be included and I just don't like Barbara's character and how forced into the story path Barbra became after avoiding her and having no or very little points with her and avoiding any interactions even to the point of slamming the door in her face to then go on like they are best friends playing a game of truth or dare and then forced to watch her make out with Lori with no choice. So yeah no thanks lol I don't do sharing haha.
