Development Update #3
Hey everyone!
We're about to finish our work on version 0.8.5. It won't have the usual amount of new content, which is why we chose to name it 0.8.5, rather than 0.9. Perhaps in the future we'll keep releasing these, relatively speaking, intermediate versions. This way you can decide to either play, or wait for the next major update.
Update 0.8.5 will have about 120 new renders, and there will also be a reduced amount of dialogues which, as we said, will make the overall length of the update shorter than usual. Therefore, the choice is yours - play 0.8.5 or wait for version 0.9 to be released when the time comes.
As a side note, this release will also feature the content from our Holiday spin-off (Halloween themed), which was integrated into the main game. If you happen to have missed that release, you'll be prompted to play it at the end of Day 7 (after the events of Update 0.8).
We also changed the appearance of the gallery / memories. Previously, locked scenes were indicated by a lock icon. Now, every locked scene will feature a black and white preview of its own unlocked picture. After unlocking access to a particular memory, the picture will swap to its colored counterpart.
About the new content added in 0.8.5, naughty scenes will be available with Lori, Julia and Haley, but which ones you get to experience will depend on the choices you made in previous versions of the game. As for the storyline, our main character will learn of past events that were kept hidden for years, and the consequences they carry over. To face them, he will gain an unexpected ally.
