But while on the topic of the family of the MC, i noticed that during the conversation when she explains why she left him and how she found him again, she says that after she left him in the church, it took her 8 years to become successful and pay back all her debts.
So she visited the church every month for 6 years to see the MC, and after 6 years of doing that, she had to stop going to the church because she was busy with work, that went on for 2 years, and when she came back for him he wasn't there anymore.
But how does Skylar fit into that story? If Maya had her after she became successful, she looks way more mature that she actually is. But if Maya had her during that time she was working to be succesful, or worse, during the time she was still visiting the MC in the church, that's a little shady, if you're secure enough to have another kid, why not go back for the MC as well?

Well it could be
- a plothole
- maybe the dev made Skylar older because he wants to add incest to the game
- maybe Skylar is older because the mom adopted her after feeling guilty for abandoning the MC

Skylar could also be adopted. MC's mom was vising the orphanage a lot and after MC went missing she could of adapted Skylar to fill the void.

Ok! Now we're talking! This is getting into the level of conspiracy theory normally reserved for the Being a DIK thread!

Here's what really happened - in about 15 years, the MC falls through a wormhole and meets his mom, romances her, gets her pregnant, they have Skylar, they divorce, he takes Skylar with him, after his mom abandons him he sends Skylar back to live with his mom/ex-wife jumps in a DeLorean and goes back home to his current timeline wife.........Skylar!!

Read it here first! All Lyk4n has to do is fill in the dialog and make the renders, I've figured out his secret plot.

First of all, the elephant in the room. Why would any of these women be attracted to the MC in any way? He goes about life with a blank expression and is completely indifferent to what is going on around him. Whenever anyone asks him to participate in anything, he responds with "Fine" with complete lack of enthusiasm. And during the activity, he merely sits there with minimal participation and no interest in the people in the room or what is going on around him. Are legions of women secretly lusting after bland, indifferent men, drifting through life with no emotion, no apparent interest in the the women, no hobbies other than occasionally playing computer games, just existing as a man taking space? Who knew it was so easy!

Couldn't agree more and lets not talk about all these mid twenty year olds are all virgins and none have have a single kiss yet Lol what were they all living in a bubble in isolation until they were twenty? sure one would be believable but all of them? yano im sure such "pure" girls like them would just jump on to the first bland guys dick they see just like that Lol

Also, is it just me or is the dialog incredibly wooden and repetitive? Everything is just so superficial. It is all like very bad small talk by actors pretending. "Hello", "Good morning", "I am going to have breakfast", "Are you going to work?", "Yes", "Breakfast was good", "I am going to take a shower". That is it, over and over, the only thing that changes is which character is talking

Same with the sex scenes "oh mc mc" "you're drving me crazy" you're so big" "I'm close, Me too!" i'd quote more but thats all the lines in the exact same order for every character sure i don't expect alot dialogue during those scene but would it kill the dev to change it up a bit?

And the pacing is crazy. You slowly get to know each woman based on some very superficial interaction, loaning her a pen or catching her if she trips on something, with absolutely no positive interaction by the MC other than the same bland emotionless expression and barely polite small talk,

Right? Like don't get me wrong the dialogue for the actual "story" events is there but for everything else like making a connect with the LIs feels like an after thought and was just slapped in last minute. I honestly have no real interest in any of the character simple because i barely know anything about them or even talk to them besides like what four sentences? and a mild saddest backstory?


Don't get me wrong the game is still enjoyable for the actual "story" part but the writing for the LI's need more so you can actually feel something for them beside "well there just there to have sex with to make it a porn game"

As much as I'd like to see MC pin mommy dearest and/or sister against a wall, I just don't see it happening based on the story and dynamic we've had up to this point.

As much as I'd like to see MC pin mommy dearest and/or sister against a wall, I just don't see it happening based on the story and dynamic we've had up to this point.

lol as I said before, I just don't think it's gonna happen (unless Lyk4n makes a radical/extreme change to his story, which I think would be a real detriment to this game).

Also, another reasoning is the way this game's narrative is structured:

Let's take Once in a Lifetime (OIAL) by Caribdis, and Tales from the Unending Void (TFTUV) by Perveteer for example (both fantastic and popular incest games):

OIAL: MC, live with his 2 sisters and his mom, and his father is absent for a lot of time. MC and his sisters discovers a mystery which could be the end of the world, and goes on adventures to prevent it.
Game literally has MC spending a lot of time with his sisters and also his mom, from the beginning, and later characters like cousin, a classmate, and also his teacher are added in the mix.

TFTUV: MC, part of a space navy, goes on a mission with his 2 sisters and several other comrades. His youngest sister gets kidnapped by a bunch of warrior women, so he deserts the navy with his other sister and his comrades and goes on a quest to rescue his sis.
On his way he gathers more people to join his group, such as his aunt (who later turns out to be his mom), and his cousin (who turns out to be his sister).

As one can see, both games above clearly have their narrative set up from the very beginning to cater for incest.

Now let's look at this game;

My Real Desire: Due to how MC was abandoned as a baby and grew up with the Church and then with Viktor, there's no sense of strong drive for the narrative to as to how it happens like in OIAL or TFTUV above.
It isn't until much later in the story where his mom and sis are actually revealed. There's been practically zero buildup (unlike OIAL, TFTUV above, which sets it up from start of the game) regarding any hints of incest, and people want incest?

lol seriously, I think this is one of those games where incest kink shouldn't happen if I'm being honest.
It would feel way too out of the blue, and just wouldn't make sense.

Same reasoning can be given for some folks wanting MC to steal Mika from Zeke.
There's been absolutely no buildup in showing friction or conflict between Mika and Zeke to justify Mika and Zeke's relationship to fall apart (not to mention Zeke being a good friend to MC which gives me even less incentive to do such a thing even if option was somehow available).

Lyk4n said there will be no netori in the game, so that leaves MC stealing Mika out of the picture.
But even Incest, it's just a very similar situation to "Mika Netori" situation.
So I highly doubt we'll be seeing it in this game.

Only thing I can suggest to those folks still trying to champion the incest kink for this game would be:

Doesn't mean they should get what they ask, especially if it makes no sense to the flow of the story and becomes a detriment towards the character dynamic between MC & the family members.

I have a feeling this will be similar situation as "Become a Rockstar" game's sister character situation.
I mean, that game will be getting the final release (v1.00) with its next update, but even until v0.9 release I remember some people still constantly complaining saying "Why can't we fuck the sister?" (and yes, for those that don't know that game, the sister is incredibly hot)

As I said before, and saying it again now, incest games have particular structure from the very beginning in which the narrative structure hints or alludes at it being an incest title (e.g. games like Once in a Lifetime, Desert Stalker, etc) which makes it pretty plausible for such kinks to be there.
This game from what I'm seeing has none of that.

Since nobody posted it here, Lyk4n said on Patreon that's he's been busy with work/university which is the reason for the delay. He hopes to have the next update out this month though.
