This . . . would have worked!As long as it involves the sister, it's the best.I was routing for a sis/sollain ending. Tales could shack up and/or marry Sollain who would be the front and willing participant in their three way relationship and they can raise his baby (and future babies) together.

Well, there is a bit of expansion on that front this time around too. If she has a date with Marc you can see a bit of it which I think sets up the relationship quite a bit better. I think the biggest issue with the Marc stuff in the initial release is you only hear about him second hand. Here you get the option on whether or not she goes on the first date with him as well asThis . . . would have worked!

I always liked the concept of Marc in that it is very clear early on that Nikki used sex to find love. Look at the situation with Grant from the early releases she thought that sex would lead to a relationship, but the guy just used her. Marc from the little we know of him is the first person outside of Taylor who tries to see her for who she is. It is a fitting end for the journey. I've seen it happen IRL, someone who is banging up a storm in college finally settles down with someone a lot more reserved or even a virgin. Party girls aren't always party girls forever. I think the new scene toes the line of introducing the character enough without bringing in a totally new person to get to know very late in the game. And he only shows up in very specific playthroughs now. And of course it helps that since Nikki is an option now players don't feel blindsided by her ending up with someone else based on a single choice made ages ago.

It was really cool of the Dev part to make this update to add more endings so that everyone can have the ending with girl they want, and there are also many redone scenes with much higher quality. I believe have already played all possible ramifications of this update and personally I still prefer the original ending with Molly (most because she is my fav girl in this VN), but it was very interesting to see the other endings as well with all the new content that has been added for them.
This was a good game, but one bad thing that I think there is that in many moments I felt don't have as much control over the MC's decisions as would like. Anyway, it was a good playthrough, I believe this update brought higher quality for this VN so i'm satisfied in the end of journey.

I said that I couldn't see too many "Death threats", aka just talking about how this outrage isn't crossing any barriers and is entirely on a manageable level (Rather I feel like you are exaggerating about the negativity).
Now, if you say that the latest update could use some more positive coverage, I would say that's it's on the way. You and a lot of different people are happy about it. There's no way that everyone will just forget about the issue, and I think that a majority of the comments here seem to be rather positive, with only a few outliers.. I think that finding a compromise is a positive and while it won't appease everyone, this update is a lot better than nothing.
Have yet to do all the routes, but the Nikki route was honestly crucial from how the story was told.
Playing through it again and damn I forgot about the appearance of Katie & Lilly from Where The Heart Is when they were looking for the MC & Debbie on the beach. Remembered the appearance of Nikki & Molly in WTHIS though.

Sad to say your characterization is something I've seen often in real life. Several minor variants. The "fun" girls who were easy or adventerous in highschool/college play the field and either get mistreated enough they eventually decide to go for a nice guy, or they get knocked up and have to focus on a child and want a nice guy to help them raise the child. The complication is I'd say roughly half of those are prone to go back to their old ways when faced with any real difficulty in a relationship because it's what they are used too. Emotionally and physically moving on, rather than work on any problems. Yes, this is the voice of experience talking sadly.

the incest patch works, the save before the arrest works, too. Though there should probably be a save at the point when you choose to be Molly's BF or not.
