Isn't urban hunting just buying food at a store? Why would you need to know how to track and kill a cat or dog if you can social engineer yourself into/out of whatever you want?

Urban hunting isn't usually about finding food. It usually refers to being able to track/find people or things in an urban environment as opposed to a wilder environment. Social engineering is usually a part of the skillset of urban hunters, so they're generally complimentary rather than opposed. Urban hunting in most of the contexts I've seen it is typically used to find people who are trying to disappear, although I've also seen it portrayed as the ability to locate lost or stolen objects for people. In the latter case, social engineering is an especially important skill for urban hunters, but it's still usually important in the former case

I've never seen that used, but an idea like that would probably be called something like that, yeah. Hunting for food is specifically referred to a subsistence hunting. You also have hunting for trophies or bragging rights, which is usually referred to as sport hunting but sometimes called trophy hunting. Those are the only types of hunting though that refer to killing something. Rural hunting, like urban hunting, still seems to refer to hunting something in a populated, albeit less populated, area because a rural area is still not a wilderness. Even in less populated areas where subsistence hunting is common, the hunters make a point of still moving away from areas where people actually live. I guess if someone was only familiar with the use of the word hunting to describe subsistence or sport hunting for some reason, the phrase urban hunting might conjure different images, but anyone who is actually familiar with subsistence or sport hunting or even just actually knows what the word hunting means wouldn't take urban or rural hunting to mean subsistence or sport hunting in those environments. It would be equivalent to thinking a treasure hunt or scavenger hunt involved subsistence or sport hunting.

Why not call it bounty hunting, man hunting or scavenging? Even hitting google for a definition of "urban hunting" gives results for pest control and culling predators not mercenary(?) work.

Fun fact, in some places you don't need a license to hunt a population of pest animals like wild pigs. That's a lot of free bacon.

Not abandoned per say more like put on indefinite hold. A loli creator in Australia got busted and it spooked him. Discords gone too.

I call bullshit. I knew he was going to abandon this game weeks ago, which is part of the reason I left his "team". He kept putting out such shitty fucking renders and when I would bring it up he would whine "man.... is it really a big deal?". He was lazy as fuck and just drove me to anger trying to keep him from releasing utter trash. It was a fucking full motherfucking time job. Got to the point where I was tired of even pointing out his corner cutting because he would just whine and bitch about how much work it was to do anything the right way. Meanwhile he spent half of his time developing new characters or writing half-ass barely-english stories for new games he wanted to make every week.



So he was just LOOKING for an excuse to abandon it since he apparently was one of those "Im not making any money off of it!" devs, although he said from the start he didnt care about making money, he just liked rendering.

And before anyone asks or talks shit, the ENTIRE reason I was "hired" (asked to help with this game, I was unpaid, but I said I didnt want to be paid) was because he caught me being brutally honest in a discord server about another devs renders and he wanted me to judge his renders and tell him all of the shit I could find wrong with them so he could make them better. That was my ONLY job at first. All the other shit I started doing was because I got tired of seeing him do a shit job at it so I took over.

And yes, you can all blame me for the lack of quick fuck with the lolis. Im not a real loli fan, so my one rule before I would work on this game was that there was no:
1: violence towards minors
2: raping/drugging/tricking/grooming minors
So I am to blame for the lolis being the ones to instigate the acts instead of being on the receiving end. But he knew that before I signed on.

Im not saying there isnt. I am just saying that Mac has been looking for a good excuse to abandon this game for AT LEAST a month, and based on what ive seen, more like 2-3 months. He just got REALLY lucky to have this as an excuse that nobody can argue against.

If it makes you feel any better, most of the content between monica and heather had been scrapped. Too many people in here cried NTR when it was mentioned that Monica might have some scenes with her sister that I ended up rewriting them (not that it matters now)

Yeah, Westy. It's safe to say Proud Father is now abandoned (by legal force). Australia is a legal insanity hellhole (can't expect much better from a country that lost a war against a bunch of birds that can't even fly I guess) that probably bans the GTA franchise with the mistaken belief it inspires real life car theft and as far as loli AVNs makes no legal distiction between cartoons and real kids, so he's facing CP production charges (I know, totally ridiculous by American standards, but he should have known the risks he was taking by staying in Australia and making a loli AVN). But it's mostly Aus/EU/UK/Canada where making a loli AVN is risky, and it should be no surprise that this happened given Westy's country of residence. I'm only surprised that it took 3 years and I still dunno what all the panic is about (several others on my SS sub list left a statement basically saying they were quitting and that was that). If devs do not live in those countries and live in the sane half of the world where you can draw or render whatever you want and sell it to those that like it they have essentially nothing to worry about and can carry on business as usual. The "CP bust" isn't even that big of a story in Australia and only mentions of it are local police patting themselves on the back with some local media statements in Geelong a few days ago. And yes on another AVN site this is marked as abandoned, and if he did basically delete all his accounts it is safe to say it is and not simply "on hold". Which is sad, I actually looked forward to updates to this one.

I mean... I was the writer... so I still have all of the scenes I wrote (prob enough to cover from 0.5-0.6 and maybe to 0.7). I kicked him off of the trello board where I stored all of the scenes when I left the team. And... as I used to do his animation.... I could probably find the Duf files for all of the characters. I dont think I have the house (the outside, I have the inside) or the school, or the vehicle, but I am sure someone could find those.

But I wouldnt want to work on it again to be honest. I was lured in with a redhead sister, which ended up being redhead twin sisters... I was iffy about working on a loli game, but he agreed to enough of my requirements and changes to make me less against it.

If someone was serious about picking up where it left off, and seemed to have the skill (or a team with the skills) needed to do it, I could be willing to point them in the direction of all of the stuff needed to continue where it left off.

Life sucks. I feel almost as sad as the day they abandoned Oopsy Daisy.

Same for me. The loli scenes with the sister felt kinda forced into the game anyway - for the sake to have such content in it. Imo that could have been cut out. But all the other things in the game were quite good. Well, to bad it's abandoned now.
