why is every dev going back and re-rendering scenes from earlier versions ? just focus your time on new content, no one cares about some scenes in the demo versions

Well, doing some quick math here, 0.0.7 had 451 images, so with the alleged 560+ renders in 0.0.8, it seems that the updates are increasing in size. Last time around I think there was 15+ animations too, but I'm totally ok with only 7. Animations can be a resource hog, and I much prefer more renders, or different, and varied angles for scenes.

I just hope that the 560+ number in 0.0.8 doesn't include the re-rendered 0.0.1 images. 0.0.1 had a render count of 186 images, but then again, the post says 560 NEW images, so there's probably nothing to worry about.

just remember to backup your work so your rendering machine doesn't catch fire with everything inside like happened with t4boo from babysitter

I might be in minority but for me, animations doesn't add anything that a good render doesn't. But I also have no idea how much more time and effort it takes, so maybe the difference isnt as big as I think. Anyway it's your game and your doing a fantastic job with it so I'm happy with whatever you choose

I hope so. I'm at the last stage. Currently have to rework 3 renderings and a bit photoshop work. Then I'm going to implement the corrections from my proofreaders. Last step is playing/testing the update and different lines in it again. Maybe in 6-8 hours
