This reminds me of the Demon Boy situation where the Dev said the next update is coming soon but 6 Months later the game was abandoned without them ever posting anything.

One question about the android version is upto date with the pc version or is in parts ? And yet to catch up with up pc version .
Last thing he posted about it is in my comment on the previous page.

As i understood he will finish all current original content with next update and afterwards he will need patreon supporters for paying friends who will do the renders for further own content. He is is just a passionate modder who likes renpy and does not do rendering stuff . But he stated he would like to continue the game.

original Dev is using this game development just for unity training because he uses unity in his real life job. So thats why we always wait for so long for any new update.

Information on future updates:
Update 0.04 (so the next one) will be the last "simple" update of the game.
After 0.04 I'll be making updates to improve the game and the user experience. These updates will add sound, fix the game's minor technical problems and change the placeholder assets (title, fonts, etc.).
These updates will be followed by additional content for the game.
Adding content to the game requires funds. I've bought a few assets but expenses escalate very quickly.
To support the project, I'm going to add two more patreon levels.
If the funds aren't enough, developing new content for the game will take a long time because of the lack of resources.
For current patrons, if your benefits are moved to the next tier, don't worry, you'll still be able to benefit from them. You'll have special roles on Discord to set you apart. So subscribe to the discord server.
How will content be added to the game?
- Patreons will vote for the various content to be added to the game.
- Patreons will receive the additional content a week before the public release.
The base game will still be available to everyone.

XYS porting the current game to Ren'py is a good thing...so far.
There are a few concerns with continuing the story line from wherever DeviantWiz leaves off - one concern is not knowing when that will happen or whether that will happen at all. If XYS gets everything that is currently in the game ported to Ren'py and DeviantWiz is still working on the current Unity version, what does XYS do then? Unless DeviantWiz comes right out and states they are stopping production, any Ren'py port would have to wait for the next Unity version which, as we all see, takes a significant amount of time. That leaves the fans of this game waiting for either version.
Another scenario is XYS continues the story from the most recent Unity version using the method described (Patrons supporting the Ren'py production). At first blush this seems to be a great plan, although it presents another set of issues:
- Assets. Getting the exact asset match to the current .duf files being used for the original game can be challenging. To date, the Ren'py port has utilized current game images. Any new material would have to be matched and rendered. If you have ever tried to match scenes (character resources, environments, lighting, etc.) you know how difficult that can be.
- Story continuity. While there have been some arguments that there are too many branched/choices and DeviantWiz has deviated (no pun intended) from the original premise of Val's story, the fact remains any new story from wherever the Unity version leaves off, (see note #1 for issues with this), would require writing, plot/story line development and renders to match or very closely matching the original game - otherwise story continuity and immersion suffers.
- Patron input. This point is a subsection of the 2nd point on this list. What happens when creators allow patrons to control the narrative on a VN/game? I see XYS has stated there would be a vote/poll to control this. That is the best possible method for determining new content, IF the patron polls are limited to aspects of the game that are canon so as not to deviate too far from the original story line (see #2 above).
All of this said, I have enjoyed XYS's work on the Ren'py port and very much want them to continue. If DeviantWiz stops production, I just hope the continuation in Ren'py is as close to the original as possible.

Funny,he's asking for money before he's even finished renovating the old one? What if he doesn't develop the new story when he has enough money? After all, the people who develop porn games these days are quality milkers, and you can't even go out and say hello if you don't know how to milk a cow.

Developing a (porn) game with legally obtained assests is almost not feasible in DAZ, they're way too expensive. Unless you're able to tell a story with 3-4 locations and reuse models whenever possible or are a blender/maya guru, you'll need a bundle of cash before you can even begin to cover additional expenses like electricity, computer parts, taxes etc.
That being said, he's got enough assests (in my opinion) at the moment to add more scenes to the story if he really wanted to. From house parties to orgies in the office or additional sleepovers of the dad or a meet & greet with the idiot neighbors. It's on him that his game didn't get the traction it needed to generate more money (to buy other assests - if he actually bought them in the first place).

There is no guarantee any money given will be used for this game. I myself have been burned by game devs who took my money and promptly started working on other games. SORRY, but I did not give them money for other games, I gave them money for the game of theirs I played and I urge anyone and everyone NOT to donate to any dev without getting assurances that it will ONLY be used for the game it was sent for.
You're forgetting the devs that stop part way through the story you're giving money to, and update the fricking graphics, or remove scenes that made you give money for in the first place. Along with what you listed, it's no wonder people don't flood a dev's bank account after the first couple of updates...most people are waiting for the other shoe to drop...dev's these days can't be trusted to complete the game they're working on. If they are successful, it turns into a one update a year milking campaign, if they're not overnight millionaires, they abandon the game with little or no notice...
