This release and also maybe not in the next 2 updates, won't include monster girls, I want to take it slow and reveal that the town is actually not what it seems to be, hence the name Mystic Ville

However answering your question, I'm dead set on adding a mermaid vs siren story and a vampire (if this counts as a monster girl), also a ghost and a succubus later.

But I'm not really sure what the monster girl tag is about, is it for any girl that is not human, or it does have to be monster looking or associated with monsters?

Nope, not yet, it's just some dialogues revision, CG replaces with animated version, performance improvements, and some UI design changes.

She don t do her job right, and now your in front of her, she try to drown the fish, and the mc is ok... And the end with portal and godess lie... well, i m not even surpise, too oblivious...
WTF what a mop hero, really really miles from kazuma.

However, considering the grand plan, the MC will mature, bit by bit, he will grow a backbone won't be a typical wimp.

I liked the way you compared him to Kazuma, but this is just my 2cents and original intentions, he's not going to be written like Kazuma, their backstories are VERY different even from the start, the MC is a handsome young kid who grew up in a nice environment, socially active, but not with girls. Kazuma, on the other hand, skipped school to play games, became a shut-in neet, and gets hated by everyone around him, thus it's logical if he has some temper regarding other people, our MC, however, does not, he doesn't have hatred, or any negativity before he was struck in that accident. We want him to be the most positive guy you ever met, full of optimism, just carrying good vibes everywhere. But, I appreciate your point of view! And thank you for sharing your opinion!

Misty seems to have a grasp on reality...but then again, she didn't follow the protag and tbh we hardly know her, yet.

Don't know if there will be Diet Megumin and Light Darkness later on, part of me hope the similarity stops here...since contrary to popular opinion, I don't like Megumin much.
Even though I prefer Darkness more, but she is purposely designed as a generic Saber Expy, so following though will just be weird IMO since she is a generic knight person, but also a masochist...and if someone else repeats this it will just be very obvious.

Anyway, I like where this is going from this simple intro, and want to see where this will be going in the future.

Exactly as you said, because of our blue-haired goofball and isekai prologue, the resemblance is uncanny, but you're actually pointing to something here, if you think that the mc resembles Kazuma without the mental breakdowns, then we seriously have problems on the writing I will try to fix it, he shouldn't give Kazuma vibes other than he's familiar with pop cultures.

And, I think that's where the similarities end! As the title of the game states, we'll be moving to Mystic Ville, a modern small town!
Though we do have plans for a witch since it is set in a supernatural centric town!

We could insert their Expys as a parody, like maybe a modern day glasscanon wizard who has to use a wheelchair everytime she casts something and a masochistic immune vampire hunter who likes to get bitten (Nah I'm just joking, it just came to my mind when reading your comment)

But if I can have a say, it's actually making me anxious seeing people mention and compare it to Konosuba, it makes me nervous if that makes any sense because konosuba is one of the top tier isekai comedy out there. We're new in the industry, it's our first game and first ever project, and getting it compared to a top dog of isekai anime is like wooow Super nervous! Good thing we didn't make a story with magic and a magic school for wizards!

Sidenote: I'm not actually confident in communicating and English isn't our first language either, so I apologize if some words came out as rude/offensive/aggressive, I didn't mean that, not at all!

As a dev, I have to, no matter how rude it is, but yeah, reading it felt like I took a punch in stomach. it was... Aggressive, I'd say... But I did took some notes in what to correct, it actually did help

I am so sorry for the confusion, the next version will be v1, then v2, onwards, our game will be in chapters, v2 incidates chapter 2 and so on, we won't use the 3 number system again because it can cause some serious confusion, since this will be a linear point and click VN

Like how every world the portag ends up with is the fantasy sword and magic type...why not Cyberpunk? Why not post-apocalypse? Why not in the grim darkness of the year 41,999 where there is only war?
You can still have your sword and magic in those settings, since...well, it is another world and shit.

Well, you know, i really don t care what you think about me (not really my problem...). BUT unconstructive ? i said why i don t like it, it s not unconstructive, and I'm not going to suggest anything else because it's up to the dev to decide that in start of a game, i can only said if yes or not i like it and why. if i would said, it s bad and end here, yes it would be unconstructive (or just good, it s nice for dev pride but unconstructive too for this game). some buildup haha. One thing that I would like to see is, you know, maybe some characters having peach fuzz down there, maybe an option for it cause some like all of them shaved. Yeah, we did it wrong, and it's a shame, we'll probably name it Ep1 or Ch1 or v1 the next time we update, we should've named it v0, Ch0, or Ep0, sorry for the confusion!

Also, the answer to the first question is... because our very first patron encouraged us! He pledged even before this version is out, he basically said that "Go for it, just share it, doesn't matter even if it has sex or not, if people like it, they will stick around. Even if they complained that there's no sex, as long as they liked it, they'll be the first one to play when the update with sex is up, trust me." So, we just did!

Thank you! Hmm... pubic hair toggle huh... this might be hard to do for the animations since there will be 3 variants (I'm assuming if there's an option for peach fuzzy, there will be people who also want justice for the bushy lovers...) But we'll see!
