MwM v0.1.1 release date
Hey guys,

V0.1.1 will be released at the end of next week on the 29th.
So far I have added 5 new events for Amber and 3 for Julia. Also, all level 2 outfits are included now.

I plan on adding some more events, for a few guests and perhaps some exploration events as well.

Starting v0.1.2 I will put up a polls so you can vote for what you would like to see next, as I did with MotH.

In the mean time, here's another (small) teaser:

Last update changelog said that we would have 3 progression events for Julia and this update say that we should have 3 new events for julia.
Can someone explain what's the difference between progression event and a new event?
Thanks and sorry for my english.

progression event means it's a "continuation" of an existing event. I.e. you started eating an appetizer, now on to the main course

New event is self-explanatory. it's new!

looking forward to trying the new content update next week. I think I like that Faerin does these monthly instead of 2 weeks. Less stress (I hope!) for him to push every 2 weeks.

I've found the way to start this game on WideScreen (2560x1080). The issue here is the braindead engine chooses a wrong aspect ratio, thereby blocking access to anything buttony.

The solution: start the executable through a batch/cmd-file. I saw a post about this, but unfortunately the author made a mistake with the options. Can't find it anymore, but I think he used
Code:
-screen-width = 1920
You cannot use =

On my monitor's resolution the non-widescreen resolution is 1920x1080. Use the 1920 in the batchfile.
Code:
 "Mystwood Manor.exe" -screen-fullscreen 1 -screen-width 1920
result:

Hope this helps some frustrated people.

Update: after this you get an illegible options screen.

Choose the top left fuzzy option and scroll it all the way down. That's the correct resolution.

I have to say, I'm really surprised by the issues with this - I expect better from Faerin's team, even at this early stage. Widescreen isn't all that uncommon, And I can't remember any other Unity-games having these issues. Hopefully this helps the team to fix the issue, or at least give other people a work-around to bitch about the bugs help test the game.

why is the image black and there is no image?
It could be a number of reasons, do you have the k-light codec pack?

Where did you extract the game?

Are you running in full screen or window?

Have you updated your video drivers?

What is your native screen resolution?

Did you try the codecs I linked?

Okay, but where did you "extract" it, you know, after you downloaded it? If you are trying to play from inside the archive, that might be your problem. Try extracting the folder to the desktop and playing from inside there.
