I can't wrap my head around the idea that you haven't played the game but you've already decided you don't like a particular character.
Play the game, learn about the character, then decide.
Otherwise, you just come off looking like an idiot.
She's kinda a weird case to me. Her story is probably the most interesting out of the main bunch of characters; if for no other reason than it's sorta the inverse of what porn usually does: take some shy girl and "corrupt" her. Instead you got a promiscuous character who decides to change her ways (a bit). You even specifically get a scene about her dressing more conservatively ...
At the same time the entire thing is a bit cringe with that whole "oh now only the player character can really satisfy me"-shtick; the impression of the story reinforced by how (almost) all other male characters in the game are shown as disgusting and awful. Only the hero is a good guy, and as mentioned previously, by any reasonably standard he's ready to commit sex crimes regularly and with no hesitation at all ^^;

Well it's not really that. If you pay attention to Velle's mom event, you should notice that their conflict is not new. In other words, Velle has wanted a steady relationship for some time before MC came into her life. It's just that MC is the only man who can satisfy her *alone*. That's also probably why she commits so much to this relationship - something that she wanted in life, was being denied to her to the point of maybe starting to give up, and then the seemingly perfect guy for the job waltzes into her life.
I'm with TheDevian on that one - Velle was promiscuous out of neccesity, so her switch to monoamory is not far-fetched at all.
Reading this, I was like "well there are no other male characters... well except for the perv janitor... and the douche who harrassed Naira in the cafe... and the shitstain who tried to molest Naira in the mall... and the husband of Fanora's cousin who was a bit of a jerk... and the asshole who tried to use faked product to get Nefari to let him molest her - FUCK ME, you're right!"
Oh, I don't disagree. If it were "meets protagonist, gets 'saved' by him from a life of debauchery" I'd probably have said it's extremely cringe. As is I just find it a bit cringe.
The "problem" - insofar as it even is one - is that while the characters and the action is neutral the author(s?) still made a deliberate choice to set it up like that so that's where the (little) cringe comes in for me. Especially also since the confrontation with the Mom is a bit ... you know.

But as mentioned it's deliberately chosen out of all possible options (ie Velle confronting and convincing her mother herself; or the mother reflecting on her actions or getting pressured by her organization over misappropriating man power or them working out a compromise of sorts ... but, naw, it's ultimately protagonist guy telling her "bad mom!") and that contributes to the entire setup being a bit "eeh" to me.
Also, the entire game gives off a bit of the anime-harem vibe to me (deliberately I'd assume) and that often is obsessed with "purity" concepts (of course never concerning the guy, always only the girls). That concerns the other characters too; the other men have already been mentioned, as an example. It's almost a miracle that the MILF landlady is "allowed" to have a sexual history ... but of course now that you are there she's completely abstaining. Coincidentally of course. There's nothing wrong with that in-universe-wise. It just - again - happened to be a choice the author made.
So having the Venne story in this sort of overall story just gives me these slight cringe vibes; with multiple small factors compounding to it.
But again, it's not awful or anything and as I said I pretty much find it the most interesting story out of the main ones despite these small ... I don't even want to call it complaints. Observations is maybe the right word

So, other than the Illusion art style, it is less about anime and more about the typical male fantasy (and occasional insecurities). The typical porn hero complex, where the guy comes in and fixes everyone's problems, usually with his dick, and they all fall for him. Where all other men are considered enemies/rivals, competing for the same "prize". This is why all other men are typically either absent or assholes.

It isn't abandoned. The next update should be end of this month or next from what there patreon page has said.
Didn't the dev say the game will be ready in the middle of may? This is taking forever
This game is essentially abandoned. 6 months for an update doesn't bode well for future updates. Think how discouraging it will be to play through this update knowing you'll have to wait until 2022 for new content.
Let those that make it decide if it's abandoned or not.
