I'm curious about this, since I only care about writing in sex scenes myself (hell, I'll read an erotic story over playing a game or watching porn), but I have no idea what those acronyms stand for. Please enlighten?

It will get deleted, but since you asked nicely. EvaKiss is the Dev. Good Girl Gone Bad is the first game, and Our Red String the second. They are 2d art tracing not 3d, but the writing and branching paths are some of the best you will find in adult entertainment. I also find the art style very stimulating.
Played through GGGB at least 5 times and still didn't see all the possibilities. Gave up on ORS once it became obvious my vision for the characters was vastly different than the Devs. It also has multiple protags, which is very difficult for my self-inserting Autistic brain to deal with.
I appreciate the Reba shout out. Come Home is a great game.
Have not played the other one, as it looked an awful lot like a certain DIK game.

I'm totally the opposite; hearing sounds during sex scenes always felt awkward to me. When I play other games, I always have them muted!

I play most games muted because most have music that is the "free, royalty free, cheap tinny carnival" music that doesn't match the scene and the sex scene sounds are almost always high pitched whimpers stolen from hentai animations or Japanese porn.

I was on this thread, on Patreon, and in my Discord agonizing over the decision for literally months. It wasn't something I settled on easily, believe me, but the support for me dropping animations was almost (if not completely) unanimous amongst everyone who was commenting and talking with me during the development of Chapter Three.



One of my top favourite AVNs of all time has no animations!



If Mythos were my full-time job I think I could swing it; but I need my health insurance and being an indie solo dev isn't covering that.

I have a more “casual” mindset and didn’t realize just how hardcore some of y’all were about collecting things!

I’m also considering having all the photos on the corkboard display a little sticker or symbol if you’d found the hint that corresponds to that character.

I think something like this could work. Like I mentioned before, maybe have some reference to what conversation or interaction has a clue in it. That way, players could have a general area to search but not just be handed everything. Reference a line of dialogue from the scene possibly. That sort of thing.

In the same note of making the investigation a bit easier, could always do an audio cue. Like when the dialogue shows up, if there is a hint in that dialogue somewhere, a small chime will play or something. It will give attention that a hint is present, without directly showing us what it is. This way it is still hidden in the text and we'll still have to look for it, but now we'll know something is there at least from the audio cue.

Just an idea. Though won't help those who always turn off the audio lol (I play with sound on).

But I do like the corkboard idea as well. Little stars under each picture to show if you missed any hints or not.

While I think the audio cue would be cool, I would want that tied to a preference switch too, since I am enjoying the idea of going back through chapter three to see what I missed (and how I missed it).

I only found one of the clues, and it was the first one. I surmise that I got too caught up in the story to keep looking. I want to test that with another playthrough of the chapter before I begin to moan about how hard it is.

YEAH! INVESTIGATION MODE SUCKS!!! (What's "investigation mode"? )

Honestly, I forgot all about it until I was almost done with the update; then couldn't remember what I was supposed to be looking for....wombats hidden in the upholstery?.......secret words?.....Dimsdale?

When I play FPS or RPG games (Half-Life, WoW etc) I am a completionist - gotta do everything. In these games I'm more laid back. I would like to do the extras, but as long as I don't miss out on the main stuff - I don't get too worried.


Besides, someone will eventually post it all here

Some other observations:
For the love of everything don't eat things you find in the sofa Violet.
When Tara is picking up Kylie at the cemetary is it Monica standing under the tree in the background?
The way B and Sophia talked about Aten makes me think of Akhenaten's sun god.
It kinda warmes my heart to find out that I was not to off calling Sophia a female Thot.
So B is not a tech-priest she's the flippin' Omnissiah.
Gonna thow this out there, Rami is B's sister.
I never want to see anime B again, she scarred my soul.

I was wondering when someone would speak up about this!!!

I must I'm a bit dumb, as stupidly clicked directly on "Return to main menu" the first time....
Then I read matschbirne post, and was like "what post credits ???"
So, I loaded my save just before the end of chapter 3, went to the end screen, and then click somewhere else...

And then, I saw the light !

But, everybody is wrong.
I'm pretty sure NTR is for some kind of explosive, and kg of it is a measurement of explosion/bomb power (like the Hiroshima bomb was equivalent to 20k kg of NTR).
